John Lennon's First Car Up for Auction

Photo Courtesy - Bonhams(PARIS) -- The first car that John Lennon owned, a blue Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe, will be up for auction at Bonham's auction house in Paris on Feb. 5.

The car is expected to sell for anywhere between $155,124 to $219,759.  Lennon bought the car in 1965 after passing his driver's test.  He originally paid about $3,104 for the ride.

Last week, another former Lennon car sold at Bonham's: the 1972 green Chrysler station wagon in which Lennon and Yoko Ono tooled around New York City sold for $5,500.  Also, the white suit Lennon wore on the cover of the Abbey Road album went for a little over $45,000.
