(NEW YORK) -- Jon Gosselin is stopping at eight kids. In an appearance on Tuesday's installment of The Wendy Williams Show, the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star said he's not planning to have children with his current girlfriend, Liz Jannetta.
Gosselin has a very good reason, too -- he underwent a vasectomy. He told Wendy Williams, "We can't have more kids....I'm fixed."
Gosselin and Jannetta currently star on the VH1 series Couples Therapy.
Naturally, much of Gosselin's conversation with Williams centered around his contentious relationship with his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin. He reiterated that he does not want their eight children to make a TV comeback following the family's run on Jon & Kate Plus 8, which aired for several seasons on TLC.
Gosselin, 36, said, "I fought so hard to get my kids off of television. It didn’t work in civil court, it didn’t work with TLC, it didn’t work with anyone so I had to go to family court and try and stop it."
Gosselin noted that money is not an issue for the children, who attend private school. He explained, "They have education trusts. They have other trusts. Kate and I put 80 percent of the gross of the income for three years in a trust for them."
Jon and Kate Gosselin have been back in the public spotlight for several months now, after she sued him last summer for allegedly hacking her computer. She later dropped the complaint.
This month, Kate has appeared on the cover of People magazine, while Jon chatted with In Touch for its own cover story on the family.
