(LOS ANGELES) -- Rebecca Mader may play the Wicked Witch Zelena on Once Upon a Time, but the Brit is actually quite lovely and couldn't stop gushing about how nice it is to work with the cast -- especially a very pregnant Ginnifer Goodwin.
"She's one of the most attractive, gracious pregnant people I've ever met," the Lost alum told ABC News. "If I can be like that when I'm pregnant. ... I love Ginnifer Goodwin."
In fact, Mader said Goodwin's pregnancy hasn't affected shooting of the series in the slightest.
"She's such a cool cat, she's just really comfortable and really happy being pregnant, it's lovely to be around," she added. "Her and Josh [Dallas, he fiance and co-star] are really, really excited to be parents. It's wonderful that they wrote the pregnancy into the show."
Mader, 36, is taking on a the iconic role as the evil green witch, but the acting vet admits she didn't realize the magnitude of the performance until now.
"People have asked me that a lot and I feel like I should have been a bit more nervous," she explained. "It wasn't until about two or three episodes in, my boyfriend said, 'You know this is a really iconic character' and I said, 'Oh my God, it is!'"
Being a veteran of a show like Lost, where twists and turns happen every week, Mader was up to the task of keeping a very important character's death last Sunday a secret.
"I've always been a really good secret keeper since I was little, working on Lost and working on Once Upon a Time, I'm reallly good at playing dumb," she said. "I don't want to get in trouble or put in time out."
She's definitely not in trouble with her parents, who can't watch the show live back in the United Kingdom, so she helps them see the show.
"I'm very close to my mom and dad, unfortunately channel 5 in the UK doesn't show this show anymore. ... I forward them all of my scenes on my laptop when we Skype, so they can see," she said. "It's really fun, I get to sit back with a cup of tea and see their faces. It's really cute, it's for those moments that I do what I do."
