Julianne Moore and Others Featured in New Pro-Obama Video

ABC/RICK ROWELL(NEW YORK) -- Julianne Moore, who won an Emmy over a week ago for her portrayal of 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in a TV movie, certainly will not be supporting the GOP's presidential nominee this fall.

Moore stars in a new celebrity-filled video, posted online by the "Women for Obama" campaign, in which she explains why she is backing President Obama over his Republican rival, Mitt Romney.

An accompanying message on written by Moore reads, "Here's something I can't imagine: Having to tell my daughter that she may not have the same opportunities as her brother because this country elected Mitt Romney as president.  But that's what's on the line in this election."

The video paints Obama as a president who is more supportive of women's rights than Romney would be if the latter were to be elected.

The clip also features Eva Longoria, Olivia Wilde, Julianna Margulies, Jennifer Lopez, Jane Lynch, Ashley Judd, Kerry Washington, Padma Lakshmi and singers Beyoncé and Sheryl Crow.

This isn't the first star-studded video centering on the election season to be released this week.  Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Ellen DeGeneres are among the celebrities who appear in a new video from the non-partisan campaign Vote 4 Stuff, urging people to vote this November.
