(LOS ANGELES) -- Kim Kardashian hadn't been seen in public since the birth of her first child, North West, with boyfriend Kanye West. That changed on Wednesday, when the family of three, along with their nanny, stepped out in Los Angeles.
In photos obtained by TMZ, a smiling West and Kardashian -- dressed in loose fitted clothing -- were headed into a doctor's office. The nanny held North, who appeared in a car seat with a white blanket draped over, blocking any view of the newborn.
Kardashian gave birth to North on June 15. The new mom has been holed up in her mother Kris Jenner's Hidden Hills, Calif., home ever since. Kardashian did, however, make a video appearance on her mom's new daytime talk show, Kris, earlier this month.
"I'm sorry I couldn't be there in person, but I'm just loving life a little bit too much at home right now," she told the audience.
