"Lee Daniels' The Butler" Tops Weekend Box Office

Lee Daniels' The Butler stars Forest Whitaker as a butler to many U.S. presidents. Oprah Winfrey stars as his wife.

The movie was inspired by a Washington Post article that featured the life of a black butler who served in the White House.

We're the Millers took the second-place spot for the second weekend in a row. The Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis comedy took in $17.78 million this weekend, according to

Matt Damon's action flick Elysium dropped down to the third-place spot, after debuting at number one last weekend.
