Leighton Meester to Make Broadway Debut in "Of Mice and Men"

Michael N. Todaro/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Leighton Meester is heading to the Great White Way to star in the Broadway revival of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men.

Entertainment Weekly reports the Gossip Girl star will make her Broadway debut portraying the flirtatious wife of Curly in the play, which Steinbeck adapted from his Depression-era classic novel.  The lead roles of George and Lennie will be played by James Franco and Irish actor Chris O’Dowd, respectively, in their Broadway debuts.

The revival will open April 16 at the Longacre Theatre in New York City and run through July 27.
