Leno's Jokes About NBC Execs Not Hurting "Tonight Show" Ratings

Last week, Jay Leno's NBC late-night program averaged 3.522 million viewers and scored its highest ratings in the advertiser-coveted 18-to-49-year-old demographic in a month, according to

The Tonight Show defeated CBS' Late Show with David Letterman and ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! in overall viewers, which has been a common occurrence this year.  In the 18-to-49-year-old demographic, it beat Kimmel all five nights and Late Show on four nights.

Leno has been relentless in poking fun at NBC executives following reports that the network wants to replace him with Late Night host Jimmy Fallon next year.
