Lindsay Lohan Completes House Arrest

Stephen Dunn/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- With the removal of a GPS ankle bracelet, Lindsay Lohan is again a free woman.

The 24-year-old actress' 35 days of home confinement came to an end around 10 a.m. PT Wednesday.

She still needs to complete 480 hours of community service. The Mean Girls and Machete star will continue working at a Los Angeles-based women's shelter and will also spend some time working at the Los Angeles County Morgue.

Her rep Steve Honig insists she's "very focused" on finishing her service.

Lohan has expressed her desire to put her most recent run-in with the law behind her.

The actress was sentenced to four months in jail in May for violating her probation in a 2007 drunken driving case when she reportedly swiped a necklace from a jewelry store earlier this year. She pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor theft charge and was allowed to serve time under home confinement thanks to overcrowding at Los Angeles' only women's prison.
