Lindsay Lohan Ordered to Court for Probation Violation Hearing

ABC News(LOS ANGELES) -- Lindsay Lohan’s latest court hearing has produced yet another series of court dates.

In Los Angeles on Tuesday, a lawyer for the problem-prone starlet entered a plea of not guilty to misdemeanor charges stemming from allegations that Lohan lied to police about her June car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway. A judge ordered Lohan to personally appear at a pre-trial hearing on Jan. 30, and set a probation violation hearing for Feb. 10. Lohan was not required to attend Tuesday’s hearing.

Lohan’s legal representation was also an issue. Shawn Chapman Holley, the actress’ longtime California-based lawyer, was reportedly fired by Lohan. But Holley appeared in court smiling, confirmed that she is still representing Lohan, and told the judge “the representation issue will be nailed down” in time for the next hearing.

Lohan is charged with reckless driving, lying to police about whether she was driving when her Porsche slammed into the back of a dump truck, and obstructing police from performing their duties. The accident occurred while Lohan and her assistant were on their way to shoot a beach scene for the Lifetime movie Liz & Dick.

Lohan was on probation at the time for a 2011 necklace theft case and could be sentenced to 245 days in jail if a judge determines her conduct violated her probation. Her probation was revoked last month.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old actress is dealing with another set of problems on the East Coast. The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office is continuing to investigate a case in which Lohan allegedly punched a Palm Beach psychic at a nightclub in November.
