Lindsay Lohan Won't Handle Dead Bodies While Working at Morgue

AL SEIB/AFP/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- As part of Lindsay Lohan's sentence for violating her probation -- assuming her appeal of same is denied -- she'll have to perform community service at a county morgue.

Yet, that doesn't mean she'll be encountering any of the morgue's less active residents.

Speaking with People magazine, Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter says the Mean Girls star will perform "basic janitorial work," like emptying the trash.  He says, "She won't be handling any dead bodies but she'll certainly see them."

Lohan was sentenced last Friday to jail and ordered to perform more than 400 hours of community service after a judge determined she violated her probation by taking the necklace she allegedly stole from a jewelry store.  She was released on bail later that day while her sentence is appealed.
