Miley Cyrus, TLC to Perform at American Music Awards Sunday Night

Pitbull Productions, Inc./Greg Watermann(LOS ANGELES) -- Some of the biggest names in music will compete and perform Sunday night at the American Music Awards.

The show, hosted by Pitbull, will broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live.

The AMAs will feature a much-anticipated performance from birthday girl Miley Cyrus, who turned 21 on Saturday. TLC is also scheduled to perform with an unnamed special guest.

In the Artist of the Year category, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are up against Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Justin Timberlake.

In the New Artist of the Year category, Macklemore will face Imgaine Dragons, Florida Georgia Line, Ariana Grande, and Phillip Phillips.

Macklemore has a leading six nominations, while Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake have five nominations apiece.

The show also is granting the first-ever AMA Icon Award to Rihanna.

The winners will be revealed Sunday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
