Natalie Portman Names Baby Boy 'Aleph'

Jason Kempin/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Natalie Portman and her fiance, Benjamin Millepied, have named their baby boy Aleph, according to Aleph is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet.  The name can mean "strong leader" or strength.

The moniker may come from Portman's Jewish heritage. She was born in Jerusalem as Natalie Hershlag.

The 30-year-old Oscar winner gave birth to her first child with Millepied on June 14, 2011. The couple met while working together on the film Black Swan.
