Andrew H. Walker/WireImage for Tony Awards Productions(LOS ANGELES) -- It sounds as though Neil Patrick Harris is experiencing awards show fatigue.

The How I Met Your Mother actor on Sunday hosted the Emmy Awards for the second time.  He's also emceed the Tony Awards in four of the past five years.

On Monday, Harris made it pretty clear that he needs to take a break from the awards show stage.  He tweeted, "Emceeing the Emmys was fun, but I’m sure glad it’s over. Looking forward to not hosting anything for a long time."

Harris will continue to keep busy with the final season of How I Met Your Mother, which began Monday night on CBS.
