(LOS ANGELES) -- The television show The Killing was raised from the dead this week after it was canceled for a second time in September.
The show was renewed by Netflix for a final season on Friday more than two months after it was killed by AMC, for the second time in two years.
The show was first canceled by AMC after its dismally-rated second season, but a last minute deal with the television studios brought it back to life.
Netflix announced that the series will enjoy a final season run of six episodes on the streaming service.
