New TV Series "Killer Women," "Intelligence Premiere" Tuesday

ABC/Bob D'Amico(NEW YORK) -- Sofia Vergara stars in one of ABC’s biggest hits, Modern Family. Now she’s launching a new show for the network, though she’s working behind the camera for this one.

Vergara is an executive producer of Killer Women, which premieres Tuesday night at 10 p.m. Eastern time.  It follows a woman who joins a group of law enforcement agents known as the Texas Rangers.  Former Battlestar Galactica actress Tricia Helfer fills the lead role as the tough Molly Parker.

CBS also unveils a new drama Tuesday night. Intelligence, debuting at 9 p.m. Eastern, features former Lost actor Josh Holloway as an intelligence operative who has a microchip in his brain, which he uses to access sensitive data to protect the U.S. from its enemies. The cast also includes ex-CSI star Marg Helgenberger.
