(NEW YORK) -- One of Philip Seymour Hoffman's final films will be released in select theaters on May 9. God's Pocket will debut as a video-on-demand release a week later.
In the film, directed by Mad Men star John Slattery, Hoffman plays a man who tries to cover up the death of his crazy stepson.
God's Pocket premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, weeks before Hoffman's death.
