'Raising Hope's' Garret Dillahunt Slips Knife Past Airport Security

Creatas/Thinkstock(LOS ANGELES) -- Raising Hope and Deadwood actor Garret Dillahunt is a very lucky man.  The 46-year-old unknowingly passed through security at a local airport while in possession of a small knife.

Apparently, Dillahunt's guilt got the best of him and he tweeted a photo of the little silver knife he accidently carried through the airport.  He said, "Oops, Walked right through airport security with this little number."

Fellow actor Rainn Wilson responded with a post on his own Twitter page, writing, "Arrest this tweeter!"  Dillahunt answered Wilson saying it was a simple mistake and that he's "a whittler, plain and simple."

However, now that he has come clean, Dillahunt jokingly admits, "I foresee a lifetime of hassles by the TSA. A sacrifice I am willing to make to ensure the safety of our skies."
