Reese Witherspoon Welcomes Third Child

Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Reese Witherspoon welcomed her third child on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

“Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth welcomed Tennessee James into their family today,” her rep told People magazine. “Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled.”

Newborn Tennessee is 36-year-old Reese’s first child with husband Jim Toth. The baby boy will join older siblings, Ava, 12, and Deacon, 8, from a previous marriage with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. The two, who share custody of their kids, split in 2006 after seven years of marriage.

Witherspoon’s pregnancy wasn’t without some challenges: she was rushed to the hospital twice in August.

Toth, 41, who’s a Hollywood agent, wed Witherspoon in March 2011 after a year of dating.
