(LOS ANGELES) -- Lamar Odom reportedly pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to DUI in connection with an arrest this past August in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the NBA star wasn't in court. Instead, his lawyer, Rich Hutton, entered the plea on his behalf.
Odom was arrested on Aug. 30 for showing "objective signs of intoxications," according to the California Highway Patrol. Odom was later released on $15,000 bond. Afterward, he reportedly checked himself into a rehab facility, but checked out after just one day. TMZ has been reporting that Odom is addicted to crack cocaine.
A pre-trial date has been set for November, although no exact date was reported. TMZ says Odom was told to obey all laws, as is customary, until his court date.
Odom has been non-stop in the headlines over the past few months thanks to allegations of rampant drug use. And this isn't the first time Odom has been accused of drug use. In 2001, he violated the NBA drug policy twice and admitted to marijuana use in 2003.
His wife, Khloe Kardashian, is reportedly planning a divorce because of Odom's alleged drug addiction. Still, the reality star appeared to slam those reports on Twitter Tuesday.
In a series of tweets, Kardashian, 29, declared, "Not all scars can be seen and not all love can be explained. The deepest love is also the hardest to express. Only those in it, understand."
