Report: Paul McCartney to Wed This Weekend

Indigo/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- After reporting that preparations for Paul McCartney's wedding to longtime girlfriend Nancy Shevell were underway, US Weekly magazine is now reporting that the two will tie the knot this weekend.  A source confirms to US Weekly that the "small intimate wedding," which will be "very elegant and classic," will take place at Paul's farmhouse in Sussex, England.  At some point in the future, says the source, "They are having a big party in New York to celebrate later on."  Shevell lives in New York City where she serves as a member of the board of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

McCartney proposed to Shevell in April with an engagement ring that reportedly cost $650,000.  As previously reported, this will be Macca's third marriage.  His first wife Linda died of cancer in 1998, and he divorced his second wife, Heather Mills, in 2008.  Between his two marriages, the legendary rocker has five children -- including Linda's daughter Heather, whom he adopted -- and eight grandchildren.
