Robert Pattinson Shoots Down Rumored Roles as Indiana Jones and Han Solo

Kevin Winter/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Robert Pattinson's been rumored to recreate the roles of Han Solo or Indiana Jones in upcoming movies, but the Twilight star insists the stories aren't true.

"I honestly don't understand what it's all about," Pattinson, 28, said recently, in response to the Indiana Jones speculation, according to People magazine. He added, "Man, I wish!"

Pattinson also has no plans to play a younger version of the Han Solo character Harrison Ford made famous in Star Wars.

"I didn't even know there was a Han Solo spinoff coming out," he admitted, noting the idea "sounds like a cool spinoff" and "I'll watch it."

Pattinson made the comments at a premiere of his new movie The Rover, opening in wide release on Friday.
