(LOS ANGELES) -- Former Saturday Night Live star Chris Kattan was arrested for alleged DUI early Monday morning, according to police.
At 1:53 a.m., Kattan, 43, was driving a 2011 Mercedes Benz westbound on the 101 Freeway near Los Angeles when he crashed into the back of a Department of Transportation vehicle, according to California Highway Patrol.
No one was injured in the accident and DOT workers were doing maintenance on the freeway at the time.
Police report that prior to Kattan’s accident, they received 911 calls reporting a Mercedes weaving all over the roadway at slow speeds.
The comedian was arrested for DUI and booked at Van Nuys jail.
Kattan rose to fame on SNL, including his iconic skits with Will Ferrell, which eventually became a movie -- A Night at the Roxbury -- about two brothers head-bobbing at clubs, looking to pick up girls.
More recently, Kattan has had guest spots on The Middle and was in post production for a movie, Walk of Fame, opposite Scott Eastwood.
