(LOS ANGELES) -- Before she landed the role of Quinn Perkins on ABC's Scandal, Katie Lowes was a nanny for fellow actress Connie Britton. The Nashville star recently confirmed Lowes' job as a nanny and revealed how she felt when she discovered Lowes had scored the Scandal gig.
"I was so upset when she got this little pilot," Britton joked to E! News' Kristin Dos Santos. "I think it was really pretty selfish on her part, I'll be honest."
Still, Britton's son Eyob, who Lowes cared for, seems to be doing just fine without her.
"Well, he's talking up a storm. And he really enjoys it. And also now, he really likes to read his books to me even though he's only two," Britton said. "I try to remain humble about my incredible skills that have obviously created genius."
ABC's Nashville airs Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET/PT, while ABC's Scandal returns Feb. 27 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
