(LOS ANGELES) -- Scarlett Johansson says she has finally been able to move on following her 2011 divorce from Ryan Reynolds.
In an interview appearing in the May issue of Marie Claire magazine, the actress admits, “Well, it wasn’t that long ago, but I think I’ve had a fair amount of time to process the experience and be able to move forward.”
“I continue to get to know myself better as I get older, and that helps me in my relationships,” Johansson adds.
The 28-year-old actress, who currently stars on Broadway as Maggie in the drama Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, says she now knows exactly what she wants in a relationship, and what she doesn't want.
“I don’t like jealous behavior. I don’t mind an occasional check-in, but when somebody is passive-aggressively jealous, it’s really unattractive because it shows a sort of insecurity...Controlling behavior is awful,” Johansson tells the magazine.
“Nobody’s going to say they love that,” the actress adds.
Johansson is currently dating 30-year-old Frenchman Romain Dauria. Ryan Reynolds married Gossip Girl star Blake Lively in September 2012.
The May issue of Marie Claire hits newsstands on April 16.
