(LOS ANGELES) -- The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant Tuesday at Justin Bieber's home, looking for evidence that he was involved in an egg-throwing incident last week.
While Bieber wasn't arrested, one of his friends was. Bieber’s friend was led from the house in handcuffs after being arrested for cocaine possession. TMZ has identified the man as rapper Lil Za.
During a Tuesday press conference, a spokesperson for the L.A. County Sheriff's Department said, "The cocaine I believe was in plain sight of the deputies when they were looking for other evidence," explaining why the friend was searched.
Bieber was home and cooperative during the search; he wasn't questioned.
Authorities collected other evidence during the search, including surveillance video.
Last Thursday night, police were called around 7:40 p.m. when a neighbor claimed Bieber started throwing eggs at his house, according to a spokeswoman from the Sheriff's Department.
Police confirmed to ABC News Radio that with the damages to the neighbor's home exceeding $400, it is now a felony case.
TMZ first broke the news, and has video it claims to be of the neighbor and Bieber shouting as the "Baby" singer threw eggs at the neighbor's house. The two men are heard yelling obscenities at each other before the neighbor tells someone to dial the police.
The video is too dark to see if it's actually Bieber.
