(NEW YORK) -- ABC's Shark Tank will have a new wrinkle when it opens its fifth season Friday night.
For the first time, two lady sharks will serve on the panel simultaneously: Lori Greiner and Barbara Corcoran. Traditionally, the panel had consisted of four male sharks and one female shark.
Corcoran is happy with the change. She tells ABC News Radio, "It's good for me. Because it took all the pressure off my back. Nothing's worse than being a token in anything that everybody's looking at you and sizing you up."
Kevin O'Leary, a.k.a. "Mr. Wonderful," is back on the panel. He says he feels at ease investing in female entrepreneurs because he earns more money from them than from the men.
He believes it's because women "tend to take less risk, they're more focused, they achieve goals faster. I'm amazed at this. This is something that I'd never focused on. But now, if a woman comes out with a deal, I listen a lot harder."
Shark Tank airs at 9 p.m. Eastern time, after the season premieres of the comedies Last Man Standing and The Neighbors.
