Steven Tyler's New Single, '(It) Feels So Good,' Was Rejected by Aerosmith

Christopher Peterson/BuzzFoto/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Steven Tyler's new single, (It) Feels So Good, was originally intended to be an Aerosmith song but was rejected by the band.  Tyler tells Rolling Stone that the band "didn't like it," so he just held on to the song "for the last couple of years."

Tyler also planned on giving the song away to anyone who bought his new book, Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?, which is currently in stores.  He ultimately rejected that idea because he was afraid of the song leaking.  Tyler said, "Once one person gets it, they put it out. So that wouldn't work."

A video for (It) Feels So Good will premiere on Thursday's American Idol.
