(LONDON) -- As Adele has said in a number of interviews, the songs on her #1 album 21 were inspired by her breakup with a boyfriend. But the songs on her debut album, 19, were inspired by a different guy who broke her heart -- and now he wants to get his. According to the British tabloid The Sun, since 19 recently re-entered the British chart thanks to the success of 21, the unnamed boyfriend has popped up and is demanding royalties.
The paper quotes Adele as saying, "For about a week, he was calling and was deadly serious about it. Finally, I said, 'Well, you made my life hell, and so I lived it, and now I deserve it.'" She adds, "I'll give him this credit -- he made me an adult and put me on the road that I'm traveling."
