Alec Baldwin Apologizes After Calling Reporter a ‘Toxic Little Queen’

Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Alec Baldwin issued an apology in a statement to GLAAD after calling a reporter a “toxic little queen” and “little bitch” in a Twitter rant after his wife was accused of tweeting while the couple attended James Gandolfini’s funeral in New York City Thursday.

In a statement posted on GLAAD’s website Friday, Baldwin apologized about his comments, which were directed at Daily Mail reporter George Stark.

“My ill-advised attack on George Stark of the Daily Mail had absolutely nothing to do with issues of anyone’s sexual orientation. My anger was directed at Mr. Stark for blatantly lying and disseminating libelous information about my wife and her conduct at our friend’s funeral service.  As someone who fights against homophobia, I apologize,” he said.

Stark had accused Hilaria Baldwin of tweeting “upbeat posts” about her upcoming wedding anniversary and her Thursday morning appearance on the “Rachael Ray” show during the funeral.

Known for his outbursts, Baldwin took to Twitter Thursday with some colorful language to deny that his wife had tweeted during the funeral.

“My wife and I attend a funeral to pay our respects to an old friend, and some toxic Brit writes this (expletive) trash,” Baldwin, 55, tweeted.

In another tweet, Baldwin threatened Stark.

“I’m gonna find you, George Stark …  and I’m gonna (expletive) …you…up.”

The 30 Rock star rattled off three more tweets about Stark before his account was disabled.

A spokesman for the Baldwins said in a statement to ABC News earlier today, “It is disgraceful that this reporter manufactured a story and never called for comment or explanation — especially when it needlessly diverted attention away from a day to honor the memory of a beloved figure like Mr. Gandolfini.”

Hilaria Baldwin defended herself on Twitter to her more than 14,000 followers.

“FYI I don’t believe in bringing phones into a funeral and I never did and I never would,” she tweeted.
“Here is some info… When someone tweets something at a certain time, and you retweet it later, it posts the TIME the first person tweeted,” she added.

Baldwin’s confrontations and blowups have become instant headlines over the years. Baldwin allegedly punched a New York Daily News photographer in the face last June after the actor obtained a license to wed Hilaria.

Baldwin was escorted off an American Airlines flight in December 2011 after he refused to stop playing “Words with Friends” on his phone

Shia LaBeouf Calls Out Alec Baldwin Via Twitter

Mike Marsland/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Just one day after Alec Baldwin compared Shia LaBeouf to a "celebrity chef," the Transformers star shot back by leaking two emails that appear to portray Baldwin as being the one who was unprepared for rehearsals for their Broadway show Orphans.

Ever since LaBeouf exited the play last month, reportedly due to "creative differences," he has been posting email exchanges on Twitter between himself and director Daniel Sullivan, Baldwin and co-star Tom Sturridge that showed there was more drama happening off stage than on.

This week, LaBeouf was apparently upset about some quotes that Baldwin gave to New York magazine's Vulture.

When Baldwin was asked about LaBeouf's tweet in which he wrote, "The theater belongs not to the great but to the brash," the 30 Rock star responded, "Some of the greatest movie stars had really serious theater careers and still do.  And many film actors, though, who are purely film actors, they're kind of like celebrity chefs…You hand them the ingredients, and they whip it up, and they cook it, and they put it on a plate, and they want a round of applause.  In the theater, we don't just cook the food and serve it."

LaBeouf must hate to cook, because being compared to a celebrity chef seemed to annoy him.  LaBeouf has tweeted an email conversation he had with Sullivan when he was still involved in the play, in which the director informed him that he "thought it was a very good first day" of rehearsal, "even if Alec never looked up" from the script.

LaBeouf also posted some emails that showed he and Baldwin were not getting along very well.  Baldwin confessed in the email, "We start Monday.  But I'm so f***ing tired."

LaBeouf responded, "I'm a hustler.  I don't get tired.  I'm 26 chief."

Baldwin snapped back, "Listen, boy.  I'm not your f***in' chief.  You got that?  Ha.  Hahahahaha.  Let's go."

LaBeouf simply responded, "yes sir," then forwarded the entire email exchange to Sullivan with the remark, "I think he's nervous."

Sullivan wrote back to LaBeouf saying, "I suspect he's not nearly as prepared as you are.  Not unusual at all when actors have a good long rehearsal time like we have.  I just don't want it to throw you.  I did a reading of another play once with Alec and about 10 minutes in I thought, 'Oh, I guess he's just going to read it.'"

Following his departure from the play, LaBeouf posted onto Twitter a screenshot of a private email exchange in which he apologized to Baldwin for "his part of a dis-agreeable situation," to which Sullivan replied, "I'm too old for disagreeable situations.  you're one hell of a great actor.  Alec is who he is.  you are who you are.  you two are incompatible.  i should have known it.  this one will haunt me.  you tried to warn me.  you said you were a different breed.  i didn't get it."

Alec Baldwin's Yoga Instructor-Wife, Hilaria Thomas, Faces Lawsuit

Sonia Moskowitz/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Alec Baldwin's wife, popular New York City yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas, is being sued by a former student who alleges that overcrowding during one of her classes caused him to suffer serious injury.

Spencer Wolff, 32, alleges in the complaint that Thomas' Jan. 15 class at Yoga Vida was so crowded that he was forced to take a spot near a window. Wolff's attorney, Paul Weitz, told ABC News that while trying to dismount from a handstand, his client "lost his balance and his leg went through the window."

"Honestly, he severed his leg really severely," Weitz said. "The muscle in his calf is seriously injured to the point where he really cannot use his ankle at all."

Weitz said Wolff, a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Yale's Comparative Literature Department, who also holds degrees from Harvard College, Columbia Law School and Paris' Sorbonne, "has what's known as a dropped foot."

While he could not specify an amount, Weitz said Wolff is seeking "a substantial amount of damages."

"He can't flex his ankle, nor can he move it from side to side," Weitz said.

"He shouldn't have been instructed to do it at this close proximity to the window, certainly with the amount of people in the room," Weitz said. "You would think they would anticipate that not everybody's going to be doing the exercise perfectly every time."

The suit, which was filed Feb. 15 in Manhattan Supreme Court, names Thomas, as well as Yoga Vida and 99 University Corp., which owns the building where the Yoga Vida is located.

"We're not really sure at this time [the building] had a permit to even be conducting exercise classes at this kind of space," Weitz said.

A woman who answered the phone at 99 University Corp. told ABC News "we've not been served or filed."

Yoga Vida's owner, who employs Thomas as an instructor, has not responded to a request for comment.

The Baldwins' spokesman on Monday said, "It's unfortunate [Wolff] was injured but the only one that was responsible was him."

Weitz said Wolff is under the care of a doctor, but there is "a possibility he will need surgery in the future depending on how he heals."

"It's nothing personal, you know? Whoever the instructor was, they would have been named. She happens to be a famous person. But if this was Jane Smith, instructor – Jane Smith would have been named," Weitz said.

Meanwhile, Thomas' husband, actor Alec Baldwin, has responded on Twitter in defense of his wife.

"1 – the class was, IN NO WAY, 'dangerously crowded." 42 in a class w room for 70," he wrote Sunday.

Baldwin has also found himself in hot water with the New York Post. The paper reported the 30 Rock actor allegedly "called a black Post photographer a racial epithet" in New York's East Village Sunday morning.

Again, Baldwin took to Twitter to respond to the Post's allegations.

"Thank u 2 NYPD officers who came 2 my home 2day so that I could file a formal complaint against NY Post 'photographer' who assaulted me," he posted Sunday night.

"The claim of racist remarks is one of the most outrageous things I've heard in my life," Baldwin said on Monday through his spokesman.

Baldwin and Thomas recently announced they are expecting their first child.

Sonia Moskowitz/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- A baby is on the way for actor Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria.

Are Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas Expecting a Baby?

Sonia Moskowitz/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- A rumor is circulating that Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Thomas are expecting a baby.

A good friend of Thomas tells InTouch, “Hilaria has told only really close friends and family she is pregnant, only a close circle she trusts.”

The insider continues, “They are both so excited and Alec is so in love with her.”

Thomas, a yoga instructor, has been photographed recently with what appears to be a slight hint of a baby bump.

The friend tells the tabloid, “[Hilaria] has not said much to anyone as far as how far along she is,” adding, “She is so healthy and a yoga freak, so everyone could tell right away something was different.”

A rep for the couple has issued a two-part tweet regarding the InTouch report, neither confirming nor denying the rumor.

Rep Matthew Hiltzik tweeted, “Our response to baby speculation over the past 18 months has remained the same –when/if @abfalecbalwin and @Hilariabalwin have news they want to share, they will share it. Until then, we have no comment."

Baldwin and Thomas began dating in 2011 and tied the knot in June 2012.

Accused Alec Baldwin Stalker Leaves New York City Court in Handcuffs

Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas - Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- French-Canadian actress Genevieve Sabourin, accused of stalking Alec Baldwin, was handcuffed and removed from a New York City court following a hearing Tuesday.

Sabourin’s former attorney, Maurice Sercarz, told ABC News that Sabourin was called into court after he filed a request to withdraw as her attorney. When the hearing was over, Sabourin was rearrested and taken into custody.

Authorities did not tell Sabourin why she was under arrest, said Sercarz.

Sercarz said he filed a motion for withdrawal from the case in October. He said his client would not listen to his legal advice regarding a protective order, preventing her from contacting Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Thomas. He said she also could not pay his legal fees.

Charged earlier with stalking and harassing the 30 Rock actor, Sabourin said the allegations that she sent countless emails to Baldwin about his then-fiancee had been damaging to her reputation, according to the New York Daily News.

“Alec Baldwin wife Hilaria REAL name:Hilary Hayward-Thomas.LIED wile call 911 on me w her false name.I’ll file 4felony,” Sabourin tweeted before her court appearance.

Sabourin was first arrested in April after sending frequent emails and texts to Baldwin. In the messages, Sabourin told Baldwin that she loved him and wanted to have his child, according to the New York Post.

Sercarz said Sabourin will be arraigned on new charges.

“I offered NBC to cut my pay 20 percent in order to have a full 7th and 8th seasons of 30 Rock,” Baldwin tweeted, “I realize times have changed.”

Zap2it reveals that the shortened 13-episode final season will see Liz Lemon, played by Tina Fey, actively trying to conceive a child with her boyfriend, played by James Marsden.  Meanwhile, Baldwin’s character, Jack Donaghy, is divorced and on the dating scene.

Alec Baldwin's Daughter Not Bothered by 'Pig' Voicemail

Sonia Moskowitz/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- That 2007 voicemail in which her father called her a “rude, thoughtless little pig?” Ireland Baldwin says it’s no big deal.

“The only problem with that voice mail was that people made it out to be a way bigger deal than it was,” Alec Baldwin’s 16-year-old daughter told the latest issue of Page Six Magazine. “He’s said stuff like that before just because he’s frustrated. For me it was like, ‘OK, whatever.’ I called him back I was like, ‘Sorry Dad, I didn’t have my phone.’ That was it.”

In fact, she says, they joke about it now: “We almost did something funny on YouTube, of me calling him and yelling at him,” she said. “We were just talking about it the other week.”

The younger Baldwin has come into her own over the past year, amassing more than 14,000 Twitter followers, giving away her father at his wedding to 28-year-old yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas and becoming a favorite of New York paparazzi, in part because she’s the spitting image of her mother, Kim Basinger.

Report: Churchgoers Turning Their Backs on Alec Baldwin

Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Although Alec Baldwin is apparently a "generous benefactor" to the Most Holy Trinity Parish in New York's ritzy East Hampton, the New York Post reports the 30 Rock star doesn't have the blessing of some parishioners.

Some are "so sick of Baldwin's blustering," the paper notes, that a group of churchgoers on July 29 staged a silent protest.

"Alec loves to be the center of attention and often reads from the pulpit, which really annoys some in the congregation," a churchgoer explains.  "It is so bad that...part of the congregation stood and rudely turned their backs on him."

"Even though he has generously given a lot of money to the town, there are people who just don't like him," the spy says.  "He has a need for attention and shows up at every event.  When people go to the church, they don’t want to see the movie star up there."

Some said the protests were politically motivated against the outspoken liberal Democrat.
