Alec Baldwin Details Alleged Stalker’s ‘Destructive War’

James Devaney/WireImage(NEW YORK) -- The Canadian actress accused of stalking actor Alec Baldwin threatened to launch “a massive destructive war” against the 30 Rock star if he did not return her affections and told him in a series of emails to alert the FBI that she would be waiting for him outside his home and office.

The emails from Genevieve Sabourin, 40, to Baldwin were made public yesterday as the actress, charged with aggravated harassment and stalking, appeared in a Manhattan court.

According to a signed affidavit filed by the actor, Sabourin sent Baldwin, 54, and recently married to yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas, 10 emails on a single day in March.

“She said that I could call the FBI and have her put in jail, or I could call her and speak to her,” Baldwin wrote.  “She told me if I did not have an conversation with her it would mean ‘war’ and that she was ‘ready for it’ and asked if I wanted to have this happen in a non-control[led] place and time at any given moment like a bad surprise.”

He says that one of the emails was titled ‘Defcon 1′ and stated that Sabourin planned to start a “massive destructive war.”

“She also said that she would find me no matter what it cost her,” he wrote.

Sabourin was arrested in April outside the actor’s apartment in New York City, not long after he became engaged to Thomas.  She had reportedly flown from Montreal to the actor’s Hamptons home in March and followed him to an event at Lincoln Center prior to her arrest.

The pair met in 2002 on the set of the film The Adventures of Pluto Nash, in which the actor had a cameo. Sabourin is credited on IMDb as part of the crew.

Court records show Sabourin and Baldwin once shared a dinner together but Baldwin claims he only offered her advice as a favor to a friend.

Sabourin denies that she was stalking the actor and says the charges have damaged her career.

“Who’s going to hire anyone who’s in court with a big star, a Hollywood star? No one’s going to take that chance,” she told reporters outside the courtroom Thursday, according to the Daily Mail.  “I haven’t had a single audition. I wish I could go on with my life on every level.”

The next court date in the case is Sept. 19.

Alec Baldwin Back on Twitter

FREDERIC J. BROWN/AFP/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- So much for Alec Baldwin leaving Twitter.

On Monday, he deactivated his account.  But the 30 Rock star has since resumed tweeting, only this time he's using the account for his foundation, @ABFalecbaldwin.

Using that handle, Baldwin retweeted a comment Wednesday from his daughter Ireland that read, "The media may not lie about everything but a great amount, yeah.”

He chimed in by writing, "You have learned well, Grasshopper."

Alec Baldwin Reveals He Wanted to 'Gut' TMZ Creator

Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- It's no secret Alec Baldwin has a bad temper.

Recently, he's gotten into many confrontations with New York City paparazzi.  And in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the actor, who married Hilaria Thomas in Manhattan's Little Italy on Saturday, admitted he wanted to "gut" TMZ's creator, Harvey Levin.

"I wanted to stick a knife in him and gut him and kill him, and I wanted him to die breathing his last breath looking into my eyes," Baldwin said of the gossip site's founder.

Years ago, Levin's site posted nasty voicemails Baldwin left for his daughter Ireland, then 11, during his bitter divorce and custody battle with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

Now that the 54-year-old actor has married again, he may have let bygones be bygones.  Later in the article he said, "You have to let that go.  Enough time -- I mean, it does heal wounds."

We know we won't hear more from Baldwin on the matter on Twitter -- he deactivated his account on Monday.

Alec Baldwin Weds Yoga Instructor Hilaria Thomas

Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Alec Baldwin wed yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas yesterday at downtown Manhattan’s St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral.

Thomas wore a silk magnolia trumpet Amsale gown with cap sleeves and a keyhole back neckline accented with crystal buttons, and her mother and Baldwin’s daughter from his marriage to Kim Basinger, Ireland Baldwin, also wore Amsale. Hilaria’s mother wore a navy jersey sheath gown with a cowl neckline and Ireland Baldwin wore a slate silk chiffon gown with a strapless neckline and a lightly pleated bodice.

The New York Post reported earlier this week that because the happy couple is wary of paparazzi — Baldwin scuffled with a New York Daily News photographer last week — they had yet to tell guests where the reception would take place. But a source close to Baldwin told that’s nonsense.

“Everyone knows where to go,” the source said, adding that while Baldwin and Thomas didn’t send out traditional wedding invites, “the idea that they are not telling people” details “is just not true.”

If the couple is planning a honeymoon, it may have to wait. Thomas is scheduled to be back at her yoga studio on July 2, and Baldwin is set to host documentary film festival on July 6 in East Hampton.

Alec Baldwin Fights with Another Photographer

D Dipasupil/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) -- 30 Rock actor Alec Baldwin unleashed on a photographer Friday morning who was blocking the entrance to his apartment building, yelling, “I want you to shut the f**k up and get out of here. Leave my neighbor alone.” After a few more “shut ups,” he sneered at the photographer, called him a “little girl,” and stormed off clutching a pink stuffed animal.

Baldwin’s publicist declined to comment on the incident, but a source close to the actor told ABC News the photographer “has a history of harassing residents in Alec’s building” and told one neighbor to “f**k off” when asked to move away from the door.

Baldwin is expected to marry fiancee Hilaria Thomas in downtown Manhattan on Saturday. Last week, he was accused of punching a New York Daily News photographer in front of the Manhattan Civil Courthouse. Police are investigating that incident.

"NY Daily News" Photog ‘Embarrassed’ Over Alec Baldwin Scuffle

D Dipasupil/FilmMagic/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- The New York Daily News photographer who found himself in the headlines after a scuffle with actor Alec Baldwin says the 30 Rock star “threw a punch” and he wants the actor prosecuted.

“I never hit him with the camera,” Marcus Santos said Thursday on Good Morning America. “He threw a punch right on my chin.  I have a mark.”

Santos, an award-winning photojournalist who has covered major news events from Haiti to the Middle East, said he was sent Tuesday to the Manhattan city clerk’s office, where Baldwin and his fiance, yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas, were filing for a marriage license, only because he was on assignment in the neighborhood.

“I’m a news photographer. I don’t usually do celebrities,” he said.

Instead of a happy shot of the couple leaving the clerk’s office, what has made headlines is a photograph of Baldwin lunging at Santos. Baldwin, 54, has said he was the one targeted, and that Santos was “aggressively trying to shoot” him and Thomas.

“I saw him come out of the court, and we started taking his picture,” Santos said.  “Next thing I saw him go after the other photographer.  I looked at him and said, ‘Don’t touch him.’  Next thing I saw he looked at me and came right at me. I didn’t have time to react."

“The camera sometimes does not get everything,” Santos said of the widely circulated photograph, which Baldwin has used to say he was the victim.  “Look at the angle, because you cannot see because I was like this [sideways]. You see the punch and the punch landing. I’m moving back. He hit me before. I was trying to move back to soften the blow. He just lunged at me.”

Santos filed a complaint against Baldwin Tuesday, and said he was suffering from headaches and a sore jaw as a result of the alleged assault. He spent two hours Wednesday in the office of the Manhattan District Attorney and, according to his attorney, wants to see Baldwin prosecuted.

“He wants justice, and that means he wants Baldwin held accountable for what he did,” Sanford Rubenstein, Santos’ attorney, told GMA. “What he wants very simply is to see him prosecuted for what he did so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.”

“The two other photographers who were on the scene when this happened have been interviewed by prosecutors, and they’re cooperating also,” Rubenstein said. “His [Santos'] medical records are available to the prosecutors.”

Sources close to Baldwin previously told ABC News that the actor was keeping his options open about the possibility of filing his own assault claim. He has been characteristically outspoken about the incident since it occurred, venting on Twitter and appearing on TV to tell his side of the story, most recently joking about it with David Letterman.

“I think you can see, I’m forming the letter ‘F’ with my mouth,” Baldwin said to Letterman Wednesday night in an appearance on his show. “And what I’m saying is, I said to him as I walked up to him, ‘What F-stop are you on with the camera?’  And he said, ‘I’m on a something,’ and I said, ‘That’s not the F-stop. … You have to set the camera on the right F-stop.’”

Santos did not directly address Baldwin’s latest remarks and said he would remain similarly silent if he ever saw the actor in person again.

“I have nothing to say to him,” Santos said. “I’m just feeling embarrassed about what he did to me.  I like to take a picture and have my picture be on the front page, not me be on the front page. I don’t want to be a part of the news.”

Alec Baldwin Tells David Letterman He Did Not Punch Photographer

FREDERIC J. BROWN/AFP/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Alec Baldwin insists he did not punch a New York Daily News photographer while picking up a marriage license in Manhattan earlier this week.

The 30 Rock star commented on his altercation with photographer Marcus Santos during an appearance on CBS' Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday.  Baldwin, claiming it was not his first run-in with the photographer, said he pushed Santos out of the way because, he alleged, Santos almost hit him in the face with the camera.

Baldwin maintained that he did not punch Santos, joking, "Had I punched him, I'd be in jail, then I would've pressed charges against him for assault, then we'd both be in the jail cell together, and then you don't want to know what would happen in the jail cell if we were together in the jail cell."

Baldwin also complained that unlike in past decades, Hollywood studios try to make money off of actors' failures.

Baldwin occasionally mixed in humor throughout the interview; he pulled down his pants while explaining how much weight he's lost, and David Letterman followed suit.

After he taped his Late Show appearance, Baldwin walked the red carpet of the premiere for his new movie, Woody Allen's To Rome with Love.

He told reporters, "There's a different part of the press, what I would call the illegitimate press, who, they have made an appointment for me that I wasn't aware of, and they come jumping out of the bushes to remind me about it.  And that's a problem."

The attorney who represents Santos says his client met with New York prosecutors and detectives Wednesday morning and that they are taking the case "very seriously."

Attorney Sanford Rubenstein also said, "Mr. Baldwin should be held criminally accountable for what he did.  There were witnesses, they are cooperating with the district attorney's office, as well as photos.  Pictures of the truth."

Baldwin obtained a marriage license for his impending nuptials with fiancée Hilaria Thomas.

According to the New York Daily News, Baldwin on Wednesday ran over the foot of an Inside Edition reporter while on a mountain bike.  He allegedly hit a Daily News reporter and photographer with the bike's handlebars, too.

Baldwin later tweeted, "I am told I ran over someone's foot on my bike today. I think it was that person who placed their foot under the wheel of my bike."

Alec Baldwin Denies Hitting Photographer

Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Alec Baldwin defended himself today against a photographer who claims the 30 Rock actor slugged him outside the Manhattan’s city clerk’s office.

“The guy lunged and he almost hit me in the teeth with the lens of the camera so I just pushed the guy away,” Baldwin said on CBS This Morning. “They all scream like they’re political prisoners.”

New York Daily News
photographer Marcus Santos filed a complaint against Baldwin Tuesday and went to a hospital to be examined for injuries. In an interview with ABC News, he said he was resting, taking painkillers and has consulted a lawyer.

Baldwin’s rep has denied that any punches were thrown and sources close to Baldwin told ABC News that the actor is keeping his options open about the possibility of filing his own assault claim.

“People think I’m just decking photographers willy-nilly, nothing could be further from the truth,” Baldwin said today. “I’m dumb but I’m not that dumb.”

Alec Baldwin Punches Photographer in the Face

Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Whatever the opposite of marital bliss is, Alec Baldwin embodied it this morning when he punched a New York Daily News photographer in the face outside Manhattan’s Marriage License Bureau.

The 30 Rock actor appeared to be obtaining a license to wed fiancee Hilaria Thomas, but there’s now speculation that the two actually tied the knot today. Baldwin was spotted in the city clerk’s office looking low-key in all black; Thomas wore all white. According to the New York Post, the two have planned to wed on June 30 at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in downtown Manhattan.

True to form, Baldwin, 54, is venting on Twitter. “A ‘photographer’ almost hit me in the face with his camera this morning,” he wrote, adding the hash tag, “‪#allpaparazzishouldbewaterboarded‬.”  In April, he ranted on Twitter after a Daily News reporter and photographer snuck into and snapped pictures of Thomas’ yoga class, calling one of the staffers a “nutty b***h.”

Alec Baldwin and Fiancee Planning June Wedding

Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Alec Baldwin and fiancée Hilaria Thomas are planning to tie the knot in New York City during the weekend of June 30, the New York Post reports.  It will be the first marriage for Thomas, a 28-year-old yoga instructor, and the second trip down the aisle for Baldwin, 54, who was previously married to Kim Basinger for eight years before their nasty split in 2001.

The newspaper reports the couple is planning a Catholic wedding ceremony at the Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral, a landmarked church that was built around 1810.  The church was where the famous baptism scene in "The Godfather" was filmed.

Baldwin and Thomas became engaged in April.
