Reports: Demi Moore Inhaled Nitrous Oxide, Is Battling Anorexia

Theo Wargo/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- There's more speculation that Demi Moore's health problems are related to substance abuse.

Her rep has said the 49-year-old actress is seeking treatment for exhaustion due to the, "stresses in her life right now." But claims that Moore was hospitalized Monday because she inhaled a dangerous amount of a type of nitrous oxide that's informally known as "whip-it."

A friend of Moore's reportedly told paramedics that Moore had an adverse reaction to the inhalant, slipped into semi-consciousness and experienced seizure-like symptoms.

A second source backs the seizure report, telling People magazine the actress, “was having what seemed like seizures,” and “concerned friends called 911.”

TMZ previously reported that Moore is seeking treatment for substance abuse.  It didn't mention which facility would treat her. also claims Moore is battling substance abuse problems, but the website further reports that she is receiving treatment for an eating disorder, too.  Its source says, "Demi is in getting treated for anorexia, as well as other issues that caused her seizure."

A People magazine report states that one reason why Moore's marriage to Ashton Kutcher fell apart in the fall is that he was unhappy with her reported use of prescription drugs.

A source says, "He wanted her to take care of herself and get a hold of things, and she wouldn't."

The same report also says Moore's friends had growing concerns over her health, with one source saying that the actress, "wasn't sleeping as well, didn't seem to be eating and looked really gaunt."

Miley Cyrus Fights Fat Attacks on Twitter

PRNewsFoto/MTV Networks International(LOS ANGELES) -- Pop superstar Miley Cyrus has shown off her body in music videos and racy photos, but lately, the 18-year-old singer and actress has apparently been on a weight rollercoaster.  Her fuller figure has some critics saying she’s lost control of her body.

Now the former Hannah Montana star is firing back at her critics via Twitter.

On Nov. 11 the teen star posted a photo of an emaciated woman alongside a Tweet to her more than three million followers, writing, “By calling girls like me fat, this is what you’re doing to other people.”

She added, “I love MYSELF & if you could say the same...I don’t wanna be shaped like a girl I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man won’t mind either.”

Cyrus also shared a snapshot of blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe with the caption, “Proof that you can be adored by thousands of men even when your thighs touch.”

Cyrus’s tweets come after a barrage of critical jokes and videos on YouTube with titles like “Miley Cyrus is 213 Pounds.”

The singer was assisted in her fight back on Twitter by her best friend and fellow pop star Demi Lovato, who tweeted, “I will destroy any one that ever calls you the F (fat) word. You have the SEXIIIESTTTT curvyyyy body! I LOVE IT! Werk (work) those curves.”

Lovato has been open with her own struggles with weight issues, checking into rehab last year for an eating disorder among other problems.

“I became very depressed, and my only way of really coping with it was through my eating disorder.  So I just stopped eating,” Lovato told ABC News’ Robin Roberts after being released from rehab earlier this year.

One person not criticizing Cyrus’s eating habits is her boyfriend of two years, 21-year-old Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.

In a new interview with Who magazine, the star of the upcoming adventure film The Hunger Games said, “There is this place in Nashville called Steak and Shake, which is pretty much the best food, ever. That is our secret, sexy place to go. When I look over at her when she’s biting into a steak sandwich and there is some steak sauce dripping down her chin, there is nothing sexier than that.”

Cyrus herself will next be heard, but her figure will not be seen, on the big screen.  Earlier this month she joined the cast of Hotel Transylvania, voicing the teenage daughter of Count Dracula in the forthcoming animated 3D comedy.
