MC Hammer Tweets About His ‘Teachable Moment’ Arrest

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) -- Rapper MC Hammer suggested he was a victim of racial profiling and called his recent arrest a “teachable moment.”

The “U Can’t Touch This”  and “2 Legit 2 Quit” singer was arrested Thursday night in Dublin, Calif.,  on charges of obstructing an officer in the performance of their duties and resisting an officer.

On Saturday, MC Hammer, whose real name is Stanley Burrell, tweeted his side of the story.

He said an officer approached his car and asked, “Are you on parole or probation?”

MC Hammer said while he was handing the officer his identification, the officer pulled him out of the car.

“It was comical to me until he pulled out his guns, blew his whistle and yelled for help … but make no mistake, he’s dangerous,” MC Hammer tweeted.

The Dublin Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

“Instead of being bitter, I’m taking the opportunity to make this a ‘teachable moment’ and ‘eye opener’ for my many friends & colleagues,” MC Hammer told his followers.

Jason London Arrested After Bar Fight; Allegedly Poops in Cop Car

Jonathan Leibson/WireImage (NEW YORK) -- The you-know-what hit the fan after actor Jason London allegedly was involved in a fight at an Arizona bar last weekend.

Police say that London, whose major credit is the 1993 film Dazed and Confused, was at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale early Sunday when he sneezed on a man, who asked for an apology.  Instead, London allegedly punched the man.

The 40-year-old actor was escorted out of the bar, and he fought some more with a couple of people.  Police say he then cursed at and became aggressive with paramedics and officers who'd arrived to the scene.

A police report on the incident says London "showed obvious signs and symptoms of extreme alcohol impairment."

After he was arrested and placed in a police car, London reportedly continued to use profanity, at one point allegedly saying, "Guess what, f****t?  I f***ing love this!  I f***ing own you guys so hard.  I'm rich and I'm a mother f***ing famous actor!  F***ing look me up, b****!"

An officer says London subsequently defecated in his pants and said, "I told you that I'm happy as s***!"

London, who recently has appeared in episodes of ABC's Scandal and TNT's Dallas, was charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

On Tuesday, London denied the allegations on Twitter, writing that the report "is a total f***ing lie. I got jumped by three 250-pound bouncers. They knocked me out and beat me for several minutes....I have a right orbital fracture and sinus fracture. The truth will win."

His mug shot shows the actor with cuts and a black eye.

London is the twin brother of Party of Five actor Jeremy London, who's had his own share of personal problems in recent years.  In 2012, Jeremy was charged with domestic battery in connection with an incident involving his estranged wife.  He eventually pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of getting into an unlawful fight in public.

Photodisc/Digital Vision/Thinkstock(LOS ANGELES) -- Los Angeles police have arrested a juvenile they believe was involved in swatting incidents involving Ashton Kutcher and Justin Bieber.

"Swatting" is a term used to describe phone calls made to police with the intention of having officers sent to an unsuspecting home as a hoax.

The juvenile, who lives in the Southern California area but whose name and age have not been revealed, was arrested on Dec. 10.  Los Angeles prosecutors are now reviewing the case.

In the Kutcher incident, police received a call that people were inside the actor's home with guns and explosives, and that several people had been shot.  The Bieber incident occurred a week later.

Miley Cyrus and Simon Cowell were also victims of swatting this year, but the Los Angeles Police Department's press release doesn't mention those incidents.

Arrest Warrant Issued for "America’s Next Top Model" Judge Rob Evans

Mike Coppola/Getty Images for Tyra Banks(LOS ANGELES) -- America’s Next Top Model judge Rob Evans has become America’s most wanted reality TV star, now that the Beverly Hills, Calif., police department has issued a warrant for his arrest.

Evans, a British male supermodel who joined the cast of the hit reality competition show this year, is being sought on charges that include battery with serious injury and assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury.

Lt. Lincoln Hoshino told ABC News that the warrant had been issued in connection with a March 14 incident that took place at the Next Modeling agency in Beverly Hills.  Hoshino denied reports from that a special fugitive team had been dispatched to track down Evans.

“We’re all laughing about that,” he said. “It sounds really cool, but we don’t have anything like that.”

Hoshino said that the Beverly Hills police had reason to believe that Evans, a former boxer, was in New York, and had notified New York authorities of the arrest warrant.

Bail attached to the warrant is set at $150,000, Hoshino said.

Calls placed to Evans’ rep by ABC News were not immediately returned.

Evans replaced model and photographer Nigel Barker on the latest season of America’s Next Top Model.  Rumors have swirled that he and host Tyra Banks are secretly an item, but Evans told the Banbury Guardian that although they’d dined together, they were never “officially dating.”
