‘The Bachelor’: Ben Flajnik Is Back, But Will He Find Love?

ABC/Matt Klitscher (NEW YORK) -- Who can forget the dramatic scene in last season’s finale of The Bachelorette when Ben Flajnik got down on one knee to propose to Ashley Hebert, only to be rejected and then have the moment play out in front of millions of television viewers?

“I didn’t know she was going to turn down my proposal. Obviously it didn’t turn out the way I wanted it to, but I’m glad that I’m here now in this position,” Flajnik, 29, said Monday on Good Morning America. “It’s hard to look at that in retrospect and have any kind of regret really because I’m glad I followed through with something for once in a relationship. It was a good learning experience.”

The Sonoma, Calif., winemaker is back on his feet and now has 25 women clamoring for his affection on the new season of ABC’s hit reality-TV show, The Bachelor. Still it took some reflection for Flajnik to put himself out there again, but there’s something about the setting and structure of the Bachelor franchise that “oddly” appeals to him.

“This forum oddly enough kind of works for me. I like the way you’re able to exercise your feelings, [you're] encouraged to get there quicker than you normally would,” he explained. “I thought long and hard about it but ultimately it was the right decision… I learned a lot about myself and pushed myself in ways that I never did before.”

This time, Flajnik is looking for a woman with “confidence, intelligence” and life experiences under her belt.

I want “someone who is worldly and … has experienced life,” Flajnik said. “At such a young age I’ve gone through so much—my father’s passing, I’ve been able to travel…I’ve had a lot of life lessons so that’s what I kind of look for in a counterpoint.”

So did he meet someone that could be the one? Flajnik’s lips are sealed of course, but he promises that fans will get their share of drama and fireworks this season.

“I think any time you combine 25 women vying for one man’s heart, there’s going to be drama, there’s going to be spice,” he said.

'Bachelorette' Winner: Ashley's "Smokin' Hot With a Great Ass"

ABC News(NEW YORK) – There are a lot of things that newly-engaged JP Rosenbaum loves about his new fiancée, Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert. And speaking to ABC News Radio’s David Blaustein on Tuesday, the 34-year-old construction manager from New York wasn’t shy when asked to name some of Hebert’s best assets.

After rattling off some of the typical responses – “she brings out the best in me,” “we just work,” and “we complement each other perfectly,” Hebert nudged Rosenbaum, and quietly reminded him of her good looks.

"Oh yeah,” Rosenbaum said. “And she's smokin' hot with a great ass!"

“Baby!” Hebert exclaimed, appearing startled by Rosenbaum’s choice of words.

The former Bachelorette contestant asked Blaustein, “I can say that?”

"There's no turning back now,” Rosenbaum said.

“She is absolutely gorgeous,” Rosenbaum conceded. “The attraction was there from the get-go."

Hebert, a 26-year-old aspiring dentist who lives in Philadelphia, accepted Rosenbaum’s marriage proposal on Monday’s season finale of ABC's The Bachelorette. JP popped the question after Ashley turned down a proposal from the other finalist, 28-year-old winemaker Ben F. of Sonoma, Calif.

Bentley's Return Leads to Drama on 'The Bachelorette'

ABC(LOS ANGELES) -- Ashley Hebert was haunted by a man from her not-so-distant past on Monday's episode of The Bachelorette. After she and the bachelors flew from Thailand to Hong Kong, she learned that the manipulative Bentley, who previously quit the show, had returned to see her.

When Ashley last saw Bentley, he told her he didn't want to close the door on their romance and said he was leaving it at "dot-dot-dot," even though it was made clear to viewers that he had no interest in marrying her. On Monday's episode, Ashley confided to Bentley that she hasn't been able to get him out of her mind. While Bentley said he flew to Hong Kong so he could see Ashley again, he encouraged her to explore her relationships with the other men. Ashley, finally realizing that Bentley wasn't Mr. Right, told him to put the "period" on their "dot-dot-dot," and so he did.

Ashley kept her meeting with Bentley a secret until her second solo date, with New York construction manager J.P., who received a rose, took it in stride, but when she told the rest of the men, they were upset that she'd expended so much energy on Bentley instead of them. Mickey, a chef from New York, was so annoyed that he quit the show.

Ashley's first solo date was with Lucas, an oilfield equipment distributor from Odessa, Texas.  It was his first-ever one-on-one date with Ashley, who gave him a rose following a boat ride. Ryan P., a solar energy executive from Fresno, California, also got a rose after a group date involving dragon boat racing.

One bachelor was eliminated during the rose ceremony: Blake, the 27-year-old dentist from Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Seven bachelors remain in the competition.

Next Monday on ABC's The Bachelorette, Ashley and the guys head to Taiwan.
