Tori Spelling Posts Video of Baby's First Moments

Tori Spelling(NEW YORK) -- After revealing her harrowing ordeal with her last pregnancy, Tori Spelling is now sharing her precious first moments with baby Finn.

Spelling posted a video of the Aug. 30 arrival of her newborn son, Finn Davey McDermott, on her website Tuesday. Clips show Finn opening his eyes for the first time and Spelling holding him after a painful C-section.

“The pregnancy with Finn was tough, and the fact that in the end we were able to bring a healthy and happy baby into this world means more to me and Dean than we can ever express,” the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star wrote on her blog about herself and husband Dean McDermott. “I’m so thrilled that we have these videos from one of the happiest days of our lives.”

But all was not happy leading up to the birth.

The reality star and mother of four recounted for Good Morning America last year how she suffered from complications that threatened her life and the baby’s.

At 20 weeks, the actress was diagnosed with placenta previa, a condition in which the placenta covers the cervix and causes internal bleeding. She was in the hospital for two and a half months, lying flat on her back, unable to care for her other young children.

“I missed Liam’s preschool graduation, and Ella’s fourth birthday party,” Spelling told GMA in December. “Hattie — when she started to crawl and her first words.”

Now Finn is a healthy 6-month-old baby, and Spelling told GMA, “I appreciate every second more with him.”

Wiz Khalifa, Amber Rose Welcome Baby Boy

Chris Polk/Getty Images via ABC(NEW YORK) -- It’s a boy for Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose!

The rapper and his fiance welcomed their first child, Sebastian ‘The Bash’ Taylor Thomaz, into the world Thursday.

“Happy Birthday Sebastian ‘The Bash’ Taylor Thomaz!!! Everyone welcome this perfect young man into the world,” the rapper tweeted.

“Happy Birthday to our baby boy Sebastian “The Bash” Taylor Thomaz! I’m so happy u guys I fell in love all over again! :-)” the model tweeted.

It appears Khalifa is off to a good start as a father. Rose tweeted a photo of the rapper holding their little boy with the caption, “Best daddy ever…. Up with the baby so Muva [Rose's nickname] can go back to sleep :-).”

Rihanna and Snoop Dogg both tweeted their congratulations to the happy parents.

“Congratulations to my fam @mistercap and @muvarosebud !!! Welcome baby Bash! You’re born in an exquisite month #babypisces,” she tweeted with a photo of her and Rose.

“Welcome 2 fatherhood mistercap!!! Congrats 2 u n @darealamberrose on ur new son,” Snoop Dogg tweeted.

In an interview with E! News in December, Khalifa said he’s not making any changes to his marijuana use despite their baby boy.

“I think it’s all about how you’re raised with it,” the rapper said. “Before, there was a much more negative outtake on it. You know, pot and what it can do, and the effects of it.

“Of course I’m not going to be smoking right there over the baby, because smoke in general and being high is not good for a kid. None of that,” he said. “But definitely he’s going to know what it is — and he’ll know the difference between being a child and not being able to use it and being an adult and knowing how to use it.”

Baby News for Tracy Morgan, Donald Faison, Kara DioGuardi

Andrew H. Walker/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Tracy Morgan has something to look forward to now that his NBC comedy 30 Rock has ended: the impending birth of a child.

He tells People magazine that he and his fiancée, model Megan Wollover, are expecting their first child together this summer.

The 44-year-old former Saturday Night Live cast member says, “I am over the moon excited and just want a happy and healthy baby and a safe delivery for Megan.”

Morgan, whose show 30 Rock aired its finale Thursday night, has three children from a previous marriage.

Former Scrubs star Donald Faison is awaiting the arrival of a new child, too.  His wife, Cacee Cobb, tweeted on Thursday that she is pregnant.

The 38-year-old Faison, who currently appears on the TV Land sitcom The Exes, has four children from previous relationships.  He married Cobb, the best pal of Jessica Simpson, who's also pregnant, in December.

Finally, former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi has just become a new mom.  The 42-year-old and her husband, Mike McCuddy, welcomed a baby boy via a gestational surrogate Thursday in Los Angeles, according to People.  The couple, who had struggled to conceive on their own, named their child Greyson James Carroll McCuddy.

Elton John and Partner Welcome Second Son

CARL DE SOUZA/AFP/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- After denying a report to the effect last week, Elton John and his partner David Furnish have now confirmed that they are indeed new dads again.

A brief statement on Elton John's official website declares, "Elton and David are very pleased to announce the birth of their child Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John on Friday, January 11."

The website then directs visitors to the Hello! magazine website for details.

Hello! reports that the new child was born via surrogate in Los Angeles and weighs eight pounds, four ounces.

"Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable," the magazine quotes Elton, 65, and 50-year-old Furnish as saying.  "The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way.  It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time; we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement."

The couple's other son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, was born on Christmas Day 2010.

Kris Allen Injured in Car Accident; Reveals He’s Going to Be a Father

@allen_kimberly/Twitter(NEW YORK) -- Kris Allen was involved in a head-on car collision on New Year’s Day, but he appears to be in good spirits and is excited to share the news that his wife Katy is expecting a baby.

The American Idol season eight champ tweeted late Tuesday night, “Yes I got in a really bad wreck tonight and yes I’m having a lil baby. #gonnabeadaddy”  Allen added, “Thank you @ford for equipping me with a car that kept my whole family @katyallen @ZorroPup [his dog] and the little one we have on the way safe.”

Allen’s mom, Kimberly Allen, tweeted a photo of her wide-eyed son in a neck brace, nursing his arm — presumably he was just making that face for the camera — and wrote, “From Kris: he’s in a lot of pain, arm broke, may not play guitar for a while. Prayers welcome please!”

She added, "Kristopher and Katy are both pretty beat up but ALIVE!” She also said that the couple’s dog is all good: “Zorro is fine too! Very shook up, but not injured.”

Kim Kardashian Doesn't Want Her Baby on TV

Don Arnold/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Kim Kardashian's baby may not follow in mommy's footsteps and become a reality TV star.

TMZ.com reports Kardashian has ruled out casting her child on her E! series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, in order to "ensure real privacy" for the baby after he or she is born.

She reportedly has also dismissed the idea of a TV special centered around her giving birth.  Currently, she is 12 weeks pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend, rapper Kanye West.

However, Kardashian's pregnancy will be documented by E! on her family's show.

The cable network's president, Suzanne Kolb, tells The Hollywood Reporter in a statement, "Like so many Kardashian fans, we love it when this close-knit family gets even bigger.  We look forward to sharing the joy as they prepare for more diapers, more bottle and without a doubt, more fabulous baby wear."

2012 Ends With Baby Boom

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) -- Last year ended with a boom — as in baby boom.

Several A-list celebrities announced at the end of the year that they were expecting in 2013.

On New Year’s Eve, Kim Kardashian, 32, confirmed the news that she is pregnant with boyfriend Kanye West’s child.

It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo,” the reality star tweeted Monday.

West, 35, first broke the news Sunday night during a concert in Atlantic City. The rapper told more than 5,000 concertgoers to congratulate his “baby mom” and that this was the “most amazing thing.”

Kardashian has long expressed her desire to have children. Around the time of her 30th birthday in October 2010, she told People that she thought she would have had four kids by then.

Instead, Kardashian married NBA star Kris Humphries the following year, and they split in October 2011 after 72 days of marriage. Their divorce is not yet finalized.

West and Kardashian began dating in April.

Also at year’s end, Jessica Simpson made headlines with the news on Christmas Day that she was expecting her second child with fiancé Eric Johnson.

On Dec. 30, Simpson tweeted a photo of her blooming midsection while clad in a bikini, along with the words “Bumpin’ and Proud!”

Simpson’s baby news dominated much of 2012. First there was her dramatic weight gain during pregnancy, then daughter Maxwell Drew’s birth in May, followed by the singer’s struggle to take off the baby weight while serving as a Weight Watchers celebrity spokesperson.

Simpson will go off her Weight Watchers diet now that she’s expecting again but will maintain her business agreement with the weight loss company as well as appear in the company’s ads, including one in which she shares her “happy news.”

Perhaps the biggest baby news of last year — and most eagerly awaited — came from Britain’s royal family.

In early December, St. James Palace announced that Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William were expecting their first child, who will eventually be the heir to the British throne.

The royal couple was forced to go public with the news of the pregnancy in Kate’s first trimester, after the duchess was admitted to a central London with hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute morning sickness which requires supplementary hydration and nutrients.

Now that the guessing game over when Kate and William would produce an heir is done, a new watch begins for them and the other expecting couples over those very first baby photos.

The Homeland star, 33, and British actor, 37, welcomed Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy on Monday, Dec. 17, People magazine confirmed.

It is unclear if the new mom will attend the Golden Globes on Jan. 13, where she is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series for her work on Homeland.

Dancy, who is best known for roles in Black Hawk Down and last year’s acclaimed Martha Marcy May Marlene, is set to star in the upcoming TV series Hannibal, which explores the character Dr. Hannibal Lecter, made famous by Anthony Hopkins in the 1991 film The Silence of the Lambs.

Kelsey Grammer Explains Why He Brought His Baby to Playboy Mansion

Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Kelsey Grammer has offered his version of events after receiving some criticism for his and his wife Kayte's decision to bring their 3-month-old daughter to the Playboy Mansion for Hugh Hefner's annual Halloween Party over the weekend.

Grammer explained in a statement to E! News on Tuesday, "Kayte is breast-feeding and we do not have a nanny or a trusted babysitter at this time, so Faith goes everywhere with us."

He added, "We enjoyed the party with a few of our friends, the baby slept as her ears were covered the entire time and we left shortly after midnight."

Grammer wore a Dracula costume, while his wife dressed as a witch.  He noted, "We enjoyed the evening.  We love our child.  Kayte is my wife and lady love.  The world is round.  All our eyes are blue.  Happy Halloween and Cock-a-doodle-doo!"
