(NEW YORK) -- Just two days after Lady Gaga announced that she was selling bracelets to raise money for Japanese disaster relief, her fans responded by ponying up $250,000.
On Monday, Gaga tweeted, "Monsters, in just 48 hours, you've raised a quarter of a million dollars for Japan Relief...it's important that we help."
The bracelets, which read "We pray for Japan" in both English and Japanese, cost $5 each and will be shipped March 25. Those interested can get them at her official online store.
