(LOS ANGELES) -- It was last call for Brandy on Tuesday night's Dancing with the Stars results show. In what may come as a shock to most viewers, given her consistently high scores, the singer and her pro partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, were eliminated from the ABC competition.
Actress Jennifer Grey, Disney Channel star Kyle Massey and surprise contender Bristol Palin remain to face off for the Mirror Ball trophy in next week's finals.
Brandy, who was reduced to tears upon learning that she'd been voted off, said she couldn't express her feelings on the results because they hadn't "processed yet" for her. However, during an appearance afterward on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live, she admitted that she wasn't expecting to be voted off, and laughed when the audience cheered Kimmel's declaration that the vote was "an outrage."
Palin and her partner, Mark Ballas, earned a reprieve from viewers despite earning the lowest total score on Monday's performance show. Some believe that Sarah Palin's supporters have kept her daughter in the competition by swinging votes Bristol's way.
Grey and partner Derek Hough earned the highest score on Monday's competition and are considered the frontrunners to win the Mirror Ball trophy.
The final Dancing with the Stars performance show of the season airs next Monday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.
