Andrew Cooper© 2011 Summit Entertainment, LLC(NEW YORK) -- The Twilight series may have ended, but we haven't seen all that there is to see from Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and company.

Fans will be treated to eight minutes of never-before-seen footage from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1 when an extended edition of the film is released on DVD and Blu-ray, as well as digitally, on March 2.

Director Bill Condon said in a statement posted on the official Twilight Facebook page, "As Twilight series devotees know, there was a lot of ground to cover in adapting Breaking Dawn to the screen....I wanted to make sure that for all the Twihards out there, there was a chance to see some of these cut scenes -- several of which are fan favorites from the book."

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1 was initially released on DVD last February.

The series ended with the release of the fifth and final film, Breaking Dawn -- Part 2, in theaters last November.

Day One of Comic-Con Features 'Twilight' Panel

Summit Entertainment(SAN DIEGO) -- The stars of Twilight helped kick off the first official day of Comic-Con in San Diego on Thursday.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner spoke at a panel at which never-before-seen clips of the Twilight sequel Breaking Dawn were screened.

One topic of discussion was the Breaking Dawn wedding between Pattinson's Edward and Stewart's Bella.  Stewart reportedly said the crew wanted to keep details of the wedding as secret as possible, so it was filmed "Secret Service style."

Director Bill Condon left the door slightly open for more Twilight tales after the release of the two-part Breaking Dawn films, which conclude the literary and film series.  He reportedly said that while Breaking Dawn represents the "end of the Bella-Edward story," there are many new characters in the final film that Twilight author Stephenie Meyer "may want to revisit."

During the panel, fans had the opportunity to ask the cast questions.

When Lautner was asked if he enjoyed filming his character Jacob's fight scenes, he joked, "My fight scenes really, I'm usually a wolf.'s a bummer because I wish I could actually be doing that, and I'm super-jealous of my CGI wolf."

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1 debuts on Nov. 18.  Part two opens Nov. 16, 2012.
