Photo Courtesy - Aftermath Records(NEW YORK) -- Eminem's Recovery is now complete.  Billboard reports the album has been officially confirmed by Nielsen Soundscan as the best-selling album of 2010 in the U.S., with 3.42 million copies sold.

Eminem also had the year's best-selling album back in 2002, with The Eminem Show, making him the only artist to grab that honor twice since 1991, when SoundScan started tracking music sales.

The second-best-selling album of 2010 was Lady Antebellum's Need You Now, with 3.09 million copies sold, followed by Taylor Swift's Speak Now, with 2.96 million copies sold.  Swift is also 2010's best-selling artist overall.  All of her albums put together sold a total of 4.47 million copies in 2010.

The other best-selling albums of the year are, in descending order, My World 2.0 by Justin Bieber, The Gift by Susan Boyle, The Fame by Lady Gaga, Soldier of Love by Sade, Drake's Thank Me Later, Raymond v. Raymond by Usher, and Ke$ha's Animal.

On the singles side, Nielsen Soundscan says Katy Perry's "California Gurls" was the year's best-selling digital track, with 4.40 million copies sold.  Train's "Hey Soul Sister" was second, with 4.31 million copies sold, and Eminem's "Love the Way You Lie," featuring Rihanna, was third, with 4.25 million.
