Amanda Bynes Accused of Another Hit-And-Run

Jason Merritt/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- It appears as though Amanda Bynes was in yet another car accident. reports that a Los Angeles woman filed a police report claiming the actress rear-ended her on Ventura Blvd. in San Fernando Valley and drove off without exchanging insurance information.

A woman named Kisa  -- her last name was withheld on the police report -- said she was driving her Toyota Corolla when she was rear-ended by a woman in a black BMW.  Kisa said she did not know who the woman was at first because she "looked like a hot mess," but they had a brief conversation, and she then realized it was Bynes.

She says Bynes attempted to push her bumper back into place, which didn’t work.  Kisa said she wanted to exchange insurance information with Bynes, but Bynes didn’t think it was necessary to exchange information because she felt the damage was not that significant.

However, Kisa said that Bynes' car did have "significant" damage, but Bynes got in her car and drove off. Police took a hit-and-run report from Kisa at the scene.

Bynes was arrested on suspicion of DUI on April 6 and she pled not guilty.  The actress also was twice accused of hit-and-run incidents in May.

Lindsay Lohan Defied Studio Insurers by Driving Car

Amy Graves/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Lindsay Lohan had been prohibited from driving while shooting the Lifetime film Liz and Dick by an insurance company, TMZ reports.

The actress was behind the wheel of a Porsche involved in a crash on the Pacific Coast Highway on June 9.  According to police, Lohan rear-ended a dump truck.  Lohan did not suffer any serious injuries.

TMZ sources say the movie’s producers knew she was driving in violation of an insurance policy taken out to protect the project.  It is believed that a production vehicle was traveling behind Lohan at the time of the accident.

Sources close to the production say the insurance company that issued the policy had been so worried about Lohan not completing the film -- because of her past troubles and DUIs -- it set multiple conditions for its coverage, including banning her from driving.

Sources tell TMZ the insurance company has not canceled the policy or taken any other action at this time.  An investigation into the accident is still ongoing.

Did Lohan Falsely Claim to Cops She Wasn't Driving at Time of Accident?

Toby Canham/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- The aftermath of Lindsay Lohan's car accident last Friday may prove to be more serious than initially reported. is reporting that Lohan falsely claimed to police that she was a passenger in, and not the driver of, the Porsche that struck a dump truck near Los Angeles.  She reportedly said her assistant was driving the car, but, according to TMZ, the assistant later told police it was Lohan who was behind the wheel.

The driver of the dump truck previously told TMZ that one of Lohan's people allegedly tried to bribe him into not calling the police following the accident.  A rep for the Mean Girls star denies the claim.

Lindsay Lohan's Rep: Truck Driver Is 'Telling Tales' About Accident

Amy Graves/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Lindsay Lohan managed to crash her Porsche into a dump truck on Friday without suffering any major injuries, but now it’s the fallout from the accident that is making headlines.

The truck driver is claiming that one of Lohan's people allegedly tried to bribe him into not calling the police when the accident happened.

The driver, referred to as James, tells TMZ, "The guy took me across the street and told me this was some kind of famous person and they didn't want to be in the media.  But I'd already called 911 because they were trying to get away from the scene."

He has hired a lawyer due to injuries he says he has suffered, according to TMZ.

Lohan's rep, Steve Honig, explained to People regarding the truck driver, "It seems to me once he realized he wasn't going to get anything from Lindsay he decided to get cash by telling tales to the tabloids.  I hope he got whatever money he was looking for.  Personally, all I care about is that Lindsay and her assistant Gavin are okay."

TMZ further reports that Lohan is telling friends that faulty brakes on her car led to the accident.
