Cee Lo Green Sings ‘F*** You’ at Obama Fundraiser

Roger Kisby/Getty Images(ATLANTA) -- Singer Cee Lo Green performed his hit song at President Obama’s campaign fundraiser at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Ga. on Friday, and he started with the uncensored version.

The Grammy-winner and Atlanta native flicked off the audience before asking, “Can I curse in here?” But he didn’t wait for the answer, belting out “f*** you!” Cee Lo ultimately switched to the censored “Forget You” lyrics.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney refused to comment on the song earlier on Friday when pressed by reporters aboard Air Force One. Carney did admit that the president is “a fan” of Cee Lo’s music and might have his songs on his iPod.

At an earlier fundraiser on Friday, the president was interrupted by a “Ludacris” song when someone’s phone started ringing.

“Woah. Got some ‘Luda’ on there?” the president asked of the person’s ring tone, eliciting some hearty laughter from the crowd. “I hope it’s the clean version.”

NFL, NBC Apologize for M.I.A.'s Middle Finger at Halftime Show

Rob Carr/Getty Images(INDIANAPOLIS) -- There were no wardrobe malfunctions during Madonna's halftime show at Super Bowl 46 Sunday, but the NFL and a television network did apologize for a middle finger.

Madonna was joined by singer M.I.A. for a performance of Madge's new single, "Give Me All Your Luvin'," when M.I.A. flipped her middle finger during her rap, which was just caught on camera as NBC tried to blur it.

According to Entertainment Weekly, an apology was issued immediately from NBC Sports, saying, "We apologize for the inappropriate gesture that aired during halftime, it was a spontaneous gesture that our delay system caught late." NBC also noted that the league and not the peacock network, was in charge of the halftime show.

The NFL issued a statement throwing some blame at NBC: "There was a failure in NBC's delay system.  The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing and we apologize to our fans."

Madonna's halftime show began with the 53-year-old queen of pop being pulled into Lucas Oil Stadium by dozens of muscled soldiers as the unmistakable opening beats of “Vogue” kicked in.  Madonna was perched on a throne, dressed in a gold robe which she soon threw off to reveal an outfit befitting a Roman or Greek goddess, featuring a black skin tight top and gold skirt, complete with thigh-high black boots and head piece.

As "Vogue" ended, the tune “Music” eased in.  This part of the set featured acrobatic breakdancers and Madonna proved her athleticism, turning cartwheels and performing headstands next to a performer perched on a wire.  She was joined by LMFAO as their hits "Party Rock Anthem" and “Sexy and I Know It” were mashed-up with "Music."

That was followed by her new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin,’” complete with football cheerleaders and guests M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, who swept in to deliver their respective parts on the song. Billboard reports M.I.A. flipped the bird while saying the lyrics, "I'mma say this once, yeah, I don't give a s**t."

A marching band led by Cee Lo Green dressed as the band leader then appeared as snippets of “Express Yourself” and “Open Your Heart” were thrown into the mix, with Cee Lo sharing the vocals.

For the final song, the stage grew dark as strains of “Like a Prayer” began. With a quick-change, Madonna and Cee Lo appeared in black sequin floor-length robes, supported by a choir of backup singers and twinkling flashlights in the stands.  As the performance reached a climax, Madonna suddenly dropped down a hatch surrounded by white smoke as the words “World Peace” were projected onto the field.

Cee Lo Green Says Gnarls Barkley Will Release New CD

Roger Kisby/Getty Images for Range Rover Evoque(NEW YORK) -- Cee Lo Green says a new album from his group Gnarls Barkley is on the way.  Until Cee Lo became a household name thanks to his hit "Forget You," most people knew him as the voice behind Gnarls and their worldwide smash, "Crazy."

US Weekly asked Cee Lo if the new project from the duo -- which also includes DJ and producer Danger Mouse -- would be similar to the duo's 2008 release, The Odd Couple. Cee Lo said, "I would hope it would break more ground [than that]. Knowing the nature of the space that we shared, I am pretty sure it will be somewhat similar."

Cee Lo also spoke about his upcoming documentary, Cee Lo Distilled, which is being sponsored by Absolut vodka. The video is available to Facebook users who "like" Absolut's page. On Monday, the page will host Part I of the doc, which promises viewers a "sneak peek into the exceptional world of Cee Lo Green," including footage of performances and candid conversation. Part II of the behind-the-scenes short film premieres July 7.

Cee Lo says he was flattered when Absolut approached him about the partnership. He tells US Weekly that Cee Lo Distilled will give fans a closer look and "enlightenment." However, he notes, "In all honesty, I don’t know if it will be enough to sum me up. It will certainly be interesting. For anybody it will be interesting. It will be full of moments."

Cee Lo's certainly been busy lately.  He's been coaching singers on The Voice, touring with Rihanna and preparing to host his new show Talking to Strangers, which premieres Wednesday at 11 p.m. EST on Fuse.

NBC's Singing Competition 'The Voice' Premieres Tuesday

Michael Tran/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Stand aside, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler -- Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green and Maroon 5's Adam Levine are about to give you a run for your money...they hope.

Aguilera, Levine and Green are three-quarters of the judging panel on the new NBC singing competition show The Voice, which premieres Tuesday.  The fourth judge is award-winning country star Blake Shelton.  Together, they'll serve as both judges and mentors for the new show, which is hosted by Carson Daly.

The gimmick on The Voice is that Aguilera, Levine, Green and Shelton will listen to the show's contestants with their backs turned to them.  Only if they like what they hear will they turn their chairs around and see the contestant.

If one judge turns their chair around, that contestant will be assigned to that judge's "team."  If more than one judge turns their chair around, the contestant will choose which judge's "team" they want to be on.

After each judge's team is complete, the judge will then mentor "their" contestants as they battle against each other by singing the same songs, and some are eliminated in the process.

In the final phase, the remaining contestants compete during live broadcasts, with the viewing audience having a say in who moves on.  The ultimate winner gets a record deal and $100,000.
