Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller Reportedly Reconciling

ROBYN BECK/AFP/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- They weathered an ugly divorce and an even nastier battle over their sons. But now it seems Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller may be reconciling.

According to, last month the former Two and a Half Men star flew Mueller out of the Mexican rehab clinic where she was said to be seeking treatment and set her up with the same doctors who treated his addiction issues earlier this year. Sheen is reportedly footing the bill.

The Mexican treatment would have reportedly required Mueller to take the hallucinogen Ibogaine to help rewire her brain. Ibogaine is a psychoactive chemical compound that is illegal in the U.S.

Back state-side last weekend, Mueller took a break from rehab to meet up with Sheen and their 2-year-old twin sons, Max and Bob. TMZ reported that Sheen wants Mueller to move closer to him when she completes her treatment so they can spend more time together with the kids. They also published a photo of the family smiling, the boys clutching candy in their hands.

Sheen's publicist declined ABC News' requests for comment. Mueller's did not immediately respond.

Mueller, 33, has been in and out of rehab over the past year. Despite that, her custody agreement with Sheen, 45, reportedly does not require either of them to undergo drug testing.

Sheen famously lost his sitcom job after a January bender and a string of erratic TV and radio interviews -- including with ABC's 20/20 -- which dealt with his hard-partying ways and subsequent sobriety, and his public spat with Men co-creator Chuck Lorre. Like Sheen -- who boasted he cured himself of his addition issues -- Mueller has been to rehab multiple times.

Dr. Drew really enjoyed doing the show, even though it could be very emotionally grueling at times."
