Cheryl Burke the Next Bachelorette?

ABC/ADAM TAYLOR(LOS ANGELES) -- Look out Emily Maynard.

If the most recent Bachelorette, already split from Jef Holm, the man who allegedly stole her heart on the show, wants another stab at reality-TV love, she might have to learn the tango to ward off her competition, Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke.

Maynard, 26, who has called herself a “hopeless romantic,” has not said specifically whether she wants back on the show, but the single Burke, 28, certainly has.

“I did meet with the execs, but we’ll see what happens,” Burke told reporters from Us Weekly and Access Hollywood backstage at Monday’s taping of DWTS, ABC’s other top-rated reality-TV show where she has danced for 14 seasons.

“There hasn’t been a firm offer, but if they offer it to me, I would love to do it,” she said.

A representative  for ABC told ABC News Wednesday, “We don’t comment on speculations and rumor.”

The uncertainty doesn’t seem to be deterring Burke, still in the competition in this season’s “All-Stars” contest with her celebrity partner, NFL great Emmitt Smith, from dreaming of reality-TV love.

“I’ve been so unlucky with dates for myself,” she told Access Hollywood. “So why not have someone else pick them for me.”

Burke, a two-time winner of the show’s coveted mirrorball trophy, has been lucky with her high-profile partners on the show, including former U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay, entertainer Wayne Newton and singer Drew Lachey, but says the time she has devoted to them and the show is keeping her from finding a real-life soulmate.

“It sounds crazy, but I’m so married to my work that I rarely meet new people. I’m around the same people all the time, I’ve been on this show for nearly a decade,” Burke told a reporter from Us.  “Over the summer I dated a couple of guys and it turned out all bad, so I just figured if someone were to make the choice for me, then maybe I’d have a better chance of meeting someone good.”

A representative for Burke confirmed her comments Wednesday to ABC News, and echoed ABC’s assertion that no specific deal is in the works.

Noel Vasquez/Getty Images for Extra(LOS ANGELES) -- Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke has already had it with her Season 13 partner Rob Kardashian, TMZ reports.

The gossip site says Kardashian is so nervous about performing that he's bagging the show's usual five hour rehearsals after just two hours.

Burke is reportedly "fed up" with Kardashian, who seems to be concerned just with making it further than sister Kim's third week vote-off.

Why Is Dancing with the Stars Pro Cheryl Burke Rooting for Toy Story 3 at the Oscars?

Photo Courtesy - Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Toy Story 3 is up for five Academy Awards this Sunday night, including Best Picture, and Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke will be watching closely.   Not because she's a huge fan of the film, but because she was personally involved in its creation.  Cheryl and her fellow Dancing with the Stars pro Tony Dovolani choreographed the lighthearted Latin dance sequence between Buzz Lightyear and Jessie the Cowgirl that ends the film.  Not only that, but the characters' movements were actually animated versions of their own moves.

Cheryl tells us that all the animators who worked on the film watched as she and Tony ran through their routine literally sixty or seventy times in one day, so they could accurately portray the steps on film.  She says, "They really wanted to analyze every move that we did...so they could really understand the movement from foot to foot."  Cheryl says she's excited about the Oscars on Sunday, especially because she'll get to go to a special pre-Oscar party for the movie.  She says, "I've never done an animated film before, let alone dancing in one, so it's really cool to see!"

Rick Fox Voted off 'Dancing with the Stars'

Photo Courtesy - Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Former NBA star Rick Fox fouled out of the competition on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars Tuesday night.  Fox and pro partner Cheryl Burke were voted off despite receiving their highest scores of the season from the judges Monday for their quick step performance.

After getting the bad news, Fox got choked up a bit when he told co-host Brooke Burke the dancing experience has been a transformational journey that had even affected his relationship with his daughter and his girlfriend, actress Eliza Dushku.

The show continued the celebration of the program's 200th episode this week by presenting a few special awards. Marie Osmond's fainting spell from 2007 was named Most Dramatic Moment and she accepted a sash at her show in Las Vegas.  Also, former contestant and ESPN pundit Kenny Mayne received a plaque with two left feet after being named the Best Worst Dancer.

The Dancing with the Stars results show also featured live performances from Taylor Swift, Rod Stewart and the cast of the musical Mary Poppins.  Swift performed "Mine," the first single from her new album, Speak Now, as well as "White Horse," from her previous album, Fearless.  Stewart performed the classic tune "I Get a Kick Out of You" from his latest Great American Songbook album.

The competition with the five remaining couples continues next Monday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on ABC.´╗┐
