(NEW YORK) -- Bruce Springsteen's very first car, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, is going up for auction at the website GottaHaveRockAndRoll.com.
Springsteen bought the car on May 21, 1975 and wrote some of his biggest hits in it, including "Born to Run" and "Thunder Road." Included with the car is the original vehicle registration, a temporary insurance card and an Allstate insurance card in Springsteen's name.
The auction will take place on the website from March 16 through March 25.
Other pieces of rock and roll memorabilia that will be auctioned off include a Grateful Dead yarmulke owned by Jerry Garcia, a tuxedo worn by Elvis Presley and an original mixing and recording console that was used by Jimi Hendrix at New York City's Sound Center Studios.
