Report: Gossip Site Grabs Naughty Pics of Christina Aguilera

PRNewsFoto/RCA Records(NEW YORK) -- Just as Christina Aguilera is trying to turn the corner on what's turning out to be a rough 2011, the singer is in the tabloids again. is reporting it has previewed more than 100 candid images of the "Dirrty" singer, which were stored on a digital media disc that had been discarded in a French hotel room in which she and new boyfriend Matt Rutler had stayed.  RadarOnline reports the shots -- date-stamped from June to November 2010 -- not only feature risque snaps of the star vamping it up at pal Nicole Ritchie's bachelorette party, but also pictures of Aguilera in bed with Rutler, as well as some other seriously racy photos.

If the person trying to sell the images finds a buyer, it would be the latest in a series of setbacks for Aguilera's career, which included her bombed film Burlesque, a flub of the national anthem at the Super Bowl, a stage slip at the Grammys, and a booze-fueled stay at a police station last month.

Christina Aguilera Will Turn Her Troubles into Great Music, Says Producer

Ronald Martinez/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- It's been a rough year for Christina Aguilera.  In the last 12 months, she's experienced a divorce, an unsuccessful album, a flop movie, a very public screw-up at the Super Bowl, a stumble at the Grammys, rumors about her wild behavior, and an arrest for public intoxication.  But her longtime producer says this is the stuff from which great art is made.

Speaking to, Claude Kelly says he's spoken to the singer, who's preparing for her debut next month as a judge on the NBC show The Voice.  He says, "She's a fighter. She's had a few stumbles, but everybody does.  It's just that she's in the public eye."  Kelly adds, "She usually takes those types of situations and turns them into huge musical moments...I believe she's going to turn all of this into a record that the world will love. I have no doubt she will be fine."

Report: Friends Concerned About Christina Aguilera's Drinking

Photo Courtesy - RCA Records(NEW YORK) -- She may have just signed on to judge the upcoming NBC reality show called The Voice, but some of Christina Aguilera's friends are getting worried about her drinking.

They tell People magazine her recent public missteps -- from allegedly passing out at Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner's birthday party late last year, to her famed national anthem flub at the Super Bowl, to her drunken encounter with police this week -- can all be pinned on new boyfriend Matthew Rutler.

"There's a real concern about this guy," an unidentified "pal" tells People, "and a lot of [Aguilera's] friends feel she needs to get away from him."

The most recent incident -- when Rutler was arrested for DWI and Aguilera was left to sober up in the custody of Los Angeles cops -- is seen by the singer's friends as the biggest red flag of all.

"Hopefully, what happened is a real wake up call," a friend says.

The source tells People, Aguilera is "going out more and drinking more.  She feels she is embracing her freedom and enjoying life...but now friends are hoping that she takes a step back and focuses on herself for a while."

Other friends apparently disagree, telling the magazine the singer just had a run of bad luck.

UPDATE: Christina Aguilera & Boyfriend Both Released from Police Custody

Photo Courtesy - Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Steve Whitmore, a spokesperson for the West Hollywood Sheriff's department, has confirmed that both Christina Aguilera and her boyfriend Matt Rutler are both now out of police custody after an early-morning incident Tuesday that saw her arrested on suspicion for being drunk in public and Rutler arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. Whitmore says Aguilera will not be prosecuted.

According to Whitmore, Rutler was stopped at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday because his Mustang was burning rubber.  His blood alcohol content was .09.  Christina, a passenger in the car, was taken to the sheriff's office as a "public wellness issue" because she was "extremely drunk" at the scene.  The singer told police she didn't know where she lived because she didn't drive, so she was put in a cell until she was able to make a phone call.  According to Whitmore, she left at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, and was picked up by a man believed to be her bodyguard.

Rutler's bail was set at $30,000.  He left police custody at 9:30 a.m.  Both he and Christina were described as being "cooperative."

E! Online has obtained Aguilera's mug shot, which was not released publicly by authorities.

Lately, the recently-divorced Aguilera has been under a microscope for a series of public missteps, including blowing a lyric of the national anthem at the Super Bowl, stumbling onstage at the Grammys and allegedly misbehaving at a celebrity party.

Christina Aguilera Offered Redemption by Baseball, Hockey Teams

Photo Courtesy - WireImage/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Christina Aguilera may have messed up the national anthem during the Super Bowl, but everybody deserves a second chance. That's why two different teams -- from two different sports -- are now offering the singer a shot at redemption.

First, the Brooklyn Cyclones, a minor-league baseball team, have invited Aguilera to come perform the anthem at one of their games this summer.  They've also offered to throw in a copy of the lyrics for her, so there won't be a repeat of Sunday's disaster.

In addition, the Syracuse Crunch, a minor league hockey team based in Syracuse, New York, wants Aguilera to sing the anthem at their Feb. 19 home game against the Rochester Americans.

In a letter to Aguilera posted on the team's website, their senior vice president says, "This opportunity certainly gives you a forum to properly demonstrate just how well you can perform the anthem before an intimate crowd of 6,200 fans in the heartland of America -- Syracuse, NY."

He adds that the team will make a donation in her honor to benefit U.S. troops.

Meanwhile, it's come to light that Aguilera really does know the lyrics to "The Star-Spangled Banner."  Footage of her singing the anthem during rehearsal before the Super Bowl, posted on TMZ, shows her singing the lyrics correctly.
