(NEW YORK) -- It's been a rough year for Christina Aguilera. In the last 12 months, she's experienced a divorce, an unsuccessful album, a flop movie, a very public screw-up at the Super Bowl, a stumble at the Grammys, rumors about her wild behavior, and an arrest for public intoxication. But her longtime producer says this is the stuff from which great art is made.
Speaking to Popeater.com, Claude Kelly says he's spoken to the singer, who's preparing for her debut next month as a judge on the NBC show The Voice. He says, "She's a fighter. She's had a few stumbles, but everybody does. It's just that she's in the public eye." Kelly adds, "She usually takes those types of situations and turns them into huge musical moments...I believe she's going to turn all of this into a record that the world will love. I have no doubt she will be fine."
