(PHILADELPHIA) -- Charlie Mack Alston used to provide security for DJ Jazzy Jeff and the artist formerly known as The Fresh Prince, aka Will Smith. So when Alston heard West Philadelphia High School had been robbed of 60 computers, he called Smith to help make things right. The pair agreed to replace the machines.
"I wanted this within 24 hours...so [the students] didn't have any excuses as to why they couldn't compete," Alston told the Philadelphia Daily News.
The new computers will be delivered Friday, thanks to the Will and Jada Smith Foundation and Alston's charity, Charlie Cares. What's more, two robbery suspects have been arrested -- one of whom is a student at the school -- and police have recovered 30 of the stolen computers.
