(LOS ANGELES) -- Katy Perry has already lent her voice to one film -- The Smurfs -- but she soon may become the star of her very own 3D movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount is in talks with Katy's people to make a documentary-style concert film about her. The project is conceived as being similar to the Justin Bieber concert movie Never Say Never, which set the record last year for the highest-grossing concert film in the U.S., raking in $73 million.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Katy is thought to be a perfect subject for such a film, since many of her fans are teen girls -- the same audience that made Bieber's film a hit. In addition, her concerts incorporate so many colorful costumes and visuals that they're eye-popping even without the 3D effect.
