Did Taylor Swift Hire a Jet to Fetch Conor Kennedy?

Kevin Mazur/WireImage via ABC(NEW YORK) -- Taylor Swift owes much of her discography to her habit of falling hard for new loves, and if a New York Post story is to be believed, her new relationship with Conor Kennedy is no exception.

The paper reports Swift is "so smitten" with her new squeeze that she dispatched a private jet to pick him up so they could be together after promotional duties for her new single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," forced them apart.

Swift had been spending time with Kennedy at the famed family's compound in Hyannis Port, Mass., but had to fly to Nashville a week ago.  A source tells the paper, "Taylor missed Conor so much, she sent a plane for him a few days later. He's been with her ever since, and his family doesn't know when he will be back."

The source explains, "Things have become so serious between them so fast that no one in Hyannis Port would be surprised if they eloped."

The relationship is reportedly progressing so quickly that some members of the Kennedy clan are nervous. "While his relatives really like Taylor, some feel their lovey-dovey behavior is cute while it has made others in the family feel a little uncomfortable," the spy claims.

Taylor Swift Shoots Down Reports She Crashed Kennedy Wedding

Jason Kempin/Getty Images(BOSTON) -- Taylor Swift’s camp is shooting down reports that she crashed the wedding of Conor Kennedy’s cousin Kyle Kennedy last weekend in Boston.

Conor Kennedy and Swift were asked not to come to the wedding Saturday because Taylor’s presence would take attention away from the bride, Kyle’s mother, Victoria Gifford Kennedy, told the Boston Herald.

Taylor’s rep denies those claims, however, and says Swift not only was invited to the wedding, but that the bride actually thanked Swift for being there.

For her part, Gifford Kennedy says Conor Kennedy was invited to the ceremony, but he did not send an RSVP to the event. When the couple texted an hour before the ceremony was to start, Gifford Kennedy said she responded, clearly asking them not to come.

When they showed up at the reception, Swift’s entrance reportedly caused a big stir.

“I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me,” Gifford Kennedy, who’s the daughter of sportscaster and NFL legend Frank Gifford, told the Herald.

She goes on to say that Swift and Conor Kennedy left the reception during the meal and then returned afterward to dance the rest of the night with the other attendees.

As previously reported, Swift and Conor Kennedy visited his mother Mary Richardson Kennedy’s grave in Hyannis, Mass., Sunday. She committed suicide in May amid a bitter divorce battle with Conor’s father, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Taylor Swift Reportedly Buys Home Near Kennedys

Jonathan Leibson/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Taylor Swift has, according to People magazine, purchased a house in Hyannis Port, Mass., across the street from reported boyfriend Conor Kennedy’s grandmother Ethel Kennedy.

A real estate agent in the area confirmed to People that Swift bought the house last week, paying a reported $4.9 million for the 13-room home overlooking the Nantucket Sound. The house was originally listed at $14 million and had been on the market for two to four years.

Swift is said to be “swept off her feet” by Kennedy. The singer was photographed wearing a retro bikini and hanging out at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port over the weekend. The couple was also spotted in Nashville just last week.

Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy Heating Up

Kevin Mazur/WireImage via ABC(LOS ANGELES) -- Taylor Swift’s budding romance with Conor Kennedy, grandson of Robert F. Kennedy, has received lots of attention, but how long will it last?  That’s unknown, but according to the new issue of People magazine, Swift’s fallen hard for the 18-year-old prep school student.

“Taylor is swept off her feet,” a source said to be in the singer’s inner circle tells the magazine. “She thinks he is the one right now.”

As for Kennedy, Kennedy biographer Laurence Leamer tells People magazine, “It’s great [he] can have a happy summer.”  Indeed, the young man has been through a lot lately: His mother, Mary Kennedy, took her own life May 16.

When summer is over, Kennedy will return to school, while Swift will be busy promoting her new fragrance and, fans hope, a new album.  The singer plans a major announcement Monday on YouTube, and it’s assumed she’ll give details of the follow-up to Speak Now.  It’s likely the two will at least see each other again in December, when Swift will be honored by the Robert F. Kennedy Center for her “commitment to social change.”

Who's Canoodling with the Kennedys?

Andrew H. Walker/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Like Marilyn Monroe before them, Hollywood’s ladies just can’t keep their hands off the Kennedys.

One week after photos of Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy surfaced, fueling rumors that the “Love Story” singer and the grandson of the late Robert F. Kennedy are dating, Curb Your Enthusiasm actress Cheryl Hines was snapped aboard a boat with her Kennedy of choice, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

In addition to boating off the coast of the family’s Hyannis Port, Mass., compound, Hines, 46, and RFK Jr., 58, spent time on the beach with her daughter. They were joined by Maria Shriver and more members of the Kennedy clan.

Hines and RFK Jr. made their relationship public shortly after his ex-wife, Mary Kennedy, committed suicide in May. Hines was previously married to businessman Paul Young.

Ethel Kennedy Plays Matchmaker to Taylor Swift

Jonathan Leibson/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Turns out it was matchmaker Ethel Kennedy who was reportedly behind the pairing of her grandson Conor and singer/song-writer Taylor Swift.

Apparently the 83-year-old widow of Robert F. Kennedy is a big fan of Swift’s music and reached out to Taylor, and the two became friends.

In fact, this winter, Swift walked the Kennedy matriarch down the red carpet at the premiere of an HBO documentary about the widow’s life.

Kennedy set up her pal Swift with her grandson on July 4, and fireworks instantly went off.

The New York Post added that on Saturday, the couple went sailing and Swift was seen talking to Ethel Kennedy. On Sunday, Swift and Conor Kennedy reportedly attended church together.

According to the Post, the two have been seen together three times in the past month. A classic example of how, once again, grandmother always knows best.
