Trouble in Paradise for 17-Year-Old Courtney Stodden and Husband

JB Lacroix/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- This most likely won’t come as a shock, but there is reportedly trouble in paradise for 17-year-old Courtney Stodden and her 52-year-old husband, Doug Hutchison.

Stodden, the aspiring singer who married Lost actor Hutchison when she was 16, has signed on to join VH1′s Couples Therapy, TMZ reported.

The couple said they have “obvious problems in their relationship because of their age difference and the notoriety they’ve gotten because of their relationship,” a source close to the show told TMZ.

Couples Therapy is set to premiere in September. Filming began a few days ago, according to TMZ.

“FYI Stoddenista’s: Will be m.i.a for about 3 weeks -- packing up & heading out to shoot a reality show! Love you all xxx God Bless, Courtney,” Stodden tweeted Monday.

Past couples on the reality show include Vienna Girardi, winner of the season 14 of The Bachelor, and boyfriend Kasey Kahl, as well as wrestler Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife Linda, 52, and her boyfriend, 29-year-old Charlie Hill.

Facebook Restores Account After Apparent Cyber-Bullying

LOIC VENANCE/AFP/Getty Images)(LOS ANGELES) -- The Interwebs just weren’t ready for Courtney Stodden.

The 17-year-old wife of 51-year-old Lost star Doug Hutchison was kicked off Facebook Thursday for posting photos that were deemed “inappropriate sexual content,” according to her mother, Krista Keller. Stodden’s personal page and her fan pages were deleted from the social network.

“It’s the jealousy from the women towards her,” Keller told E! News. "The men love her, the women hate her. The women report the photo because it’s so easy to do. You just click a button. They think she’s too sexy, they all report her together, and it’s done."

That may not be exactly true. On Friday, Facebook reinstated Stodden’s page, saying “This page was removed in error and has been restored. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.”

Stodden considers it a victory.

“I am so happy that I’ve brought attention to the problem that I have had for so many other people,” she told “I was cyber-bullied, and I hope this doesn’t happen to other people.”

But hey, who needs Facebook? Stodden’s been typing up a storm on Twitter, mixing musings on God and descriptions of her body in various states of undress with alliterative flair. Some of Stodden's recent messages include:

“Wildly wiggling & jauntily jiggling myself to jolting jams as I friskily flaunt a flirty outfit completed w/sexy white 7in. go-go boots! ; -)"

“Drenched within a very sensuous Sunday morning! God Bless! 'Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.' Proverbs 16:3"

Her more than 47,000 followers don’t appear to find such statements inappropriate at all.

'The Green Mile' Actor Opens Up About Marriage to 16-Year-Old

ABC News(LOS ANGELES) -- Fifty-one-year-old Green Mile star Doug Hutchison raised more than a few eyebrows when he married a 16-year-old girl earlier this year. Hutchison and his bride, Courtney Stodden, say their relationship wasn't a case of love at first sight. Speaking to ABC News, they say they first connected last year, when she reached out to him via email to inquire about acting workshops Hutchison was holding. It took a little while for their romance to blossom because he was in Hollywood and she was based in Washington State.

Hutchison, who played sadistic prison guard Percy Wetmore in The Green Mile, says Stodden became flirtatious with him, though he didn't initially realize she was only 16. He says when he learned her age, his "world turned upside down....It didn't make me want to walk away, but it definitely was a struggle inside my heart...because I had already started falling for her." They began a relationship by email and phone, with the eventual blessing of Stodden's parents. After flying to Washington to meet Stodden in person for the first time, he proposed. They married in Las Vegas in May, though it wasn't reported by the media until the following month.

The couple says since their relationship was made public, they've been ridiculed on the Internet. They add that Stodden's parents have received death threats, Hutchison's mother and brother have all but disowned him, and Hutchison's agent and manager have dropped him. Hutchison says after his mother cut him out her life, "[Courtney] held me in her arms, and I cried a little bit. And we looked at each other afterwards, and we said we knew that this was gonna happen....And it brought us closer together."

The couple's future plans include a possible reality show.
